Red Kings Poker pours it on with EPT seats
By Sarah Polson
The new tournament schedule is out at Red Kings Poker and it looks like the first live tournament up for grabs on the poker site will be the European Poker Tour event in Prague this December.
The Prague event will take place at the Hilton, and players from Red Kings Poker will receive a prize package worth more than $10,000 to get to play there.
That's not the only stop on the EPT that Red Kings Poker will be sending players to. Free seats to the Scandinavian Open as well as the Monte Carlo Grand Final will be given away also.
The online final for the Prague event will take place Nov. 18 and costs $1,725+$125 for direct entry. However, Red Kings Poker players can work their way up through qualifier rounds for as little as $1+10¢. For that little bit of pocket change, players will take part in a 10-person sit-and-go with the winner moving on to Stage 1a.
There are four different Stage 1 events for players to jump into as well. The qualifiers from the $1 qualifier move on to 1a, which has a $10+$1 buy-in and is limited to 20 players.
There are also 10-seater $20+$2 Stage 1 events, $50+$4 events with four seats and $100+$8 heads-up events.
Stage 2 has a $185+$15 direct buy-in. It too is limited to 10 players, with the winner moving on to the final.
"The structure has been arranged so that someone getting through the stages will only have to beat 15 other players in order to win the first prize package of over $10,0000, which includes the ticket to the final and travel, hotel and spending money," said a Red Kings Poker spokesman.
"The EPT and 'bigger tournament' promotion is designed to attract new players to Red Kings plus provide our existing players a chance to represent us in a live final."
The EPT online final is a scheduled multi-table tournament with a minimum of six seats being given out. The more players who enter the final, the more seats will be given away as well. For every six seats filled in the online final, another prize package will be available.
