Dunst, Obst, Abernathy on Point as Aussie Millions Main Down to 40
The 2016 Aussie Millions Main Event has shrunk to just 40 players still in the hunt for the $1.6m AUD top prize.
Leading the way into Day 4 will be one of the familiar voices of the World Poker Tour, Tony Dunst.
The host of the Raw Deal and established pro in his own right Dunst bagged up 1.6m in chips to end the day as the frontrunner for the home stretch.
Close behind, however, are local hero James Obst and Poker Night in America star Sam Abernathy, who each put away 1.2m.
Alexander Lynskey and Artur Koren each bagged over 1m as well to make the top 5 all chip millionaires and Day 4 an intriguing battle of big stacks.
Mix of Big Names, Locals Remain
The talented trio at the top of the counts aren't the only familiar faces in contention for the final table.
Among the Top 10 heading to Day 4 are also celebrated pro Ari Engel, at just over 800k in chips, and Taiwanese pro Kitty Kuo at 783k.
UK crusher Stephen Chidwick (388,000) and American Jessica Dawley (302,000), another PNIA regular, also put away chips for Day 4.
Plenty of local talent still remains as well with Australians Bobby Zhang, Dylan Honeyman, Martin Rowe and Jack O'Neill joining Obst and Lynskey in the Top 15:
