Since learning the game two years ago, when asked about his biggest ambition, James Akenhead from London, England, has always answered, "To win the WSOP Main Event."

Having won nearly $700k since picking up the game, mostly thanks to his 2nd place finish worth $520k in the first $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament of the 2008 WSOP, Akenhead has been able to do nothing but pursue his goal full time over the last year.

Coming in to the final table last in chips with 6.8 million, Akenhead finally gets his chance to make his dreams come true, and add another $7.3 million to the guaranteed $1.2 million for 9th place.
