2013 has been a big year for 888poker.com.

For the first time in its history 888poker.com ranks as the second-biggest online poker room in the world, according to PokerScout.com.

888poker.com edged out Full Tilt Poker for the number two spot chasing industry giant PokerStars.com.

The accomplishment comes at the end of a successful year for 888poker that saw the global poker brand launch a new marketing campaign featuring music from French producer Madeon, upgrade their mobile technology and introduce their own quick-fold poker product.

888poker also sponsored the live stream and television broadcasts of the first-ever World Series of Poker Asia Pacific and WSOP Europe and won the eGR Poker Operator of the Year Award.

888poker says the final push that edged them into second position was their massive Winter Bonus Boom which offers all 888poker players special bonus challenges customized specifically for them.
