The poker site Pokio, which only runs as an app on the smartphone, turns three years old this month. The provider is celebrating this birthday with numerous promotions and additional tournaments with 5 figure guarantees.
We take a look at Pokio's promos for its 3rd birthday.
Pokio might only be a comparatively small provider, but one of the best poker sites if you only want to play on mobile. In 2017, the provider went online with a beta version, at the end of 2018, the Malta-licensed poker site officially started real money operations.
Since the end of November, additional tournaments have been running on Pokio to celebrate the three-year anniversary. December 6th the particularly rewarding anniversary promotions will begin.

The advertised numbers certainly seem small compared to the promos of huge operators like GGPoker and PokerStars, but you have to take into account that Pokio is a small provider and the number of players participating in the promos is also much smaller. Especially the freerolls and the giveaways in the cash game series are therefore very worthwhile.
€10,000 Freeroll Feast
There following feerolls are available on Pokio every day from December 6th to 19th. On weekends there are especially big freerolls.
- Monday - Friday: €500 Freeroll at 16:00 CET
- Saturday: €1,000 Freeroll at 16:00 CET
- Sunday: €1,500 Freeroll at 16:00 CET
€12,000 Cash Game Series
From December 6th to 20th, Pokio is running a Cash Game Series with prizes to be won. On each cash game limit there is a leaderboard that counts the number of flops a player has seen.
These are the cash prizes that can be won:
Happy Hour: Every day from 20:00 to 22:00 the flop hands count double.
Daily Lucky Draw: Every player who plays at least 5 flop hands during Happy Hour is automatically entered into the Daily Lucky Draw. Here €200 will be awarded to the winner.
Pokio 3rd Anniversary Main Event
The €50k Anniversary Main Event is the biggest event in the promotion and it is one of the biggest tournaments the small operator has held so far.
There are 5 starting days and a final day, the buy-in is €100 and re-buys and add-ons are available. The tournament is offered completely free of charge.
- Starting days: 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th December, 18:00 CET each day.

€10k PLO Event
A €50 PLO event with a €10,000 guarantee will start on Pokio on December 11th at 18:00 CET. This tournament has no fee and allows up to 4 re-buys plus an add-on.
