Biography

Lonis grew up in Upstate New York (Little Falls) in a working-class environment. Poker was a popular pastime in his household, and this influence may have set the tone and trajectory for Lonis’ life. After graduating from Little Falls High School, Lonis decided to pursue a career in the construction industry. Poker was still present in his life during this period, and he was a regular player at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in New York. His first recorded score on thehendonmob.com was in the $ 20 No Limit Hold’em PM back in 2018 at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, where he finished second for $200.
Lonis kept racking up the cashes whilst working his construction job, scoring three five-figure sums during 2020. 2021 is when everything changed for Lonis. He scored his then-biggest cash to date in January 2021 at the $3,500 No Limit Hold’em WPT Championship, finishing fifth for $223,895. More scores kept coming, live and online throughout the year across a range of buy-ins, and it was clear to see that Lonis was dedicated to making poker his full-time income. His hard work culminated in a deep run in the $10,000 Main Event in November 2021, where he finished 25th for another six-figure score of $241,800.

Lonis remained consistent, playing everything from $200 buy-ins to $10,000s to keep getting the reps in to aid his improvement. Lonis hit the big time in 2023, where he scored his biggest career cash. He won the $50,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Handed Event at the WSOP for a massive score of $2,303,017. From that moment, the rest was history for Lonis. With this score, he was able to tackle the highest stakes and play with the best players in the world. He scored his next seven-figure sum at the WSOP, having finished runner-up in the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller for $1,358,633 in 2024. He didn’t have to wait long for his next one, as he took down the $53,000 No Limit Hold’em 7-Handed Event on his Triton debut at the Monte Carlo stop in 2024 for $1,502,000.

Lonis continued his hot streak at Triton the following year, securing five cashes in Montenegro during the 2025 stop. He banked the biggest cash of his career so far, winning the $100,000 Main Event for $3,446,298. He also won the $40,000 Mystery Bounty at the same stop for $619,000, as well as cashing for $457,000, $280,000, and $39,000. Lonis has had a great start to 2026, winning $1,001,000 for a fourth-place finish in the $125,000 No Limit Hold’em 7-Handed at Triton in Jeju as well as scoring multiple cashes on the PGT, WPT, WSOPE, and USPO events.
