More action, no waiting around between hands, bankroll-boosting rewards, Double Cash Drops and mixing it with the Pros. That might sound too good to be true, but it’s what Rush & Cash Fridays at GGPoker are all about!
As leading Real Money Online Poker Sites go, this forward-thinking operator is full to the brim with new ideas and ways to keep poker fans both entertained and rewarded, and the Rush & Cash Friday concept is typical.
What Is Rush & Cash Poker?
Rush & Cash is GGPoker’s home-grown fast-fold game, and is available in both Texas Hold’em and Omaha formats. It’s essentially a standard cash game but with no waiting around for a hand to finish because, once you fold, you’re whizzed away and thrown straight into the action with a new had at a new table. Simply hit the ‘Rush‘ button and you’re good to go – literally.
Rush & Cash Friday takes this already exciting game to another level by adding a bit extra. The Cash Drop promo feature in Rush & Cash games sees cash amounts ‘dropped’ on the table in randomly selected hands, and these rewards can range from 10 Big Blinds to 600 Big Blinds(!) – either directly into that hand’s pot or divided and added to each sitting player’s stack.
With the Rush & Cash Fridays promotion, when at least one GGTeam Member, GG Influencer or otherwise signified Friend of GG is playing, the table becomes eligible for a Double Cash Drop – for example, a cash drop of 10 Big Blinds at a table where at least one GGTeam member is sitting will be automatically doubled to 20 Big Blinds in size, and so on…
The mechanics of Rush & Cash Fridays couldn’t be simpler, as the following illustrates:

In an ideal Real Money Poker world for cash game players, there’d be no waiting around once we’ve folded for the rest of the players still involved to finish the hand and, moneywise, a special promo that adds welcome cash to our bankroll.
The ever popular partypoker not only offers both of these player-friendly elements but, thanks to their ongoing Boosted Hours promotion, even throws in extra rewards.
Fastforward Poker: How It Works
The Fastforward format mirrors conventional cash games but features two very distinct differences:
Instead of being seated at the same table hand after hand, you are part of a pool of players, moving around between multiple tables.
The beauty of Fastforward that makes it ‘fast’ is the facility to fold out of turn and immediately be whisked off to a brand new hand at a brand new table! That means no more waiting around.
Fastforward tables are available for both Hold’em and Omaha cash games, so everyone can take advantage of this exciting format. Stakes are also indicative of this operator’s poker-for-all endeavours, starting at just $0.01/$0.02 and going up to $5/$10 – this bankroll-friendly wide-ranging choice of options is exactly how online poker should be.
Meanwhile, if you like trying to adopt the Edward Scissorhands multi-tabling approach, it’s possible to play up to six games simultaneously!
Increase Your Rewards With Boosted Hours
By now it might have already occurred to you that by being able to jump into a new hand as soon as you fold means you’ll play more hands per hour hour/session than in a conventional game which, in turn, increases the amount you receive via partypoker’s Cashback promotion. However, the saying that we ‘can’t have too much of a good thing’ isn’t always the case, because during so-called Boosted Hours you’ll be able to rack up even more cashback points, thus boosting your bankroll still further!
Furthermore, the more points you collect, the higher the cashback percentage you’ll receive. Note that your cash reward is paid directly into your partypoker account each Monday, and that Short Deck games are excluded from the promotion.
Sit & Go fans can also make the most of Boosted Hours, which runs 24 hours per day, every day of the week. Note that in this case the promo applies to all $20+ Sit & Go games (N.B. Heads-Up games are excluded).
Incidentally, tournament afficionados are, of course, also very well catered for at partypoker in the form of a fantastic, varied, non-stop tournament schedule that has something for everyone. Go to our dedicated info section to find out more and check out the Best Online Poker Bonuses and Offers … have fun, good luck and enjoy the Boosted Hours!
The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOP-E) is winding down this week, with the conclusion of the Main Event tournament among the big highlights. The final table of the Main Event is playing down on Wed, Nov 16, and it’s a big one.
There is €1,380,129 up top for the win at King’s Casino, Rozvodov, and there are some big names vying for the big prizes. Leading the way is perennial Player of the Year runner Shaun Deeb who sits down at the final table second in chips. Deeb already has five bracelets in his jewelry collection, but he’d surely love to add a Main Event bracelet to the group.
Among the players who will be gunning for him is OG GOAT Barny Boatman. Boatman, who is one of Twitter’s best poker follows with tweets ranging from philosophical to profane to hilarious (often all in one tweet), has been a leading figure in the poker world for decades and he already has a bracelet for each wrist. He comes to the final table with the 5th biggest stack, but he’s always dangerous on the felt.
Two other bracelet winners are vying for the biggest European honor. Alexandre Reard and Jonathan Pastore both have a single bracelet and are looking for their second. The rest of the final table will be looking for their first bit of wrist jewelry at Wednesday’s final table.
Main Event Champion to Be Crowned
While a lot of attention is focused on the Main Event winner from the Las Vegas series every summer, there are actually two WSOP Main Event champions crowned every year. The second Main Event bracelet is awarded every year in Europe, and this year it will be handed out at King’s Casino in Rozvodov, Czech Republic. This year’s Main Event drew 763 entries for a prize pool of €7,248,500.
At the time of writing, there are eight players left with a chance of bagging the WSOP-E Main Event title, and half of them already have Gold Bracelets in their collection. Leading the way into the final table is Sweden’s Omar Eljach with almost 20 million chips. That’s almost 100 big blinds in the opening level of the final table, and he has already booked a 2nd place cash in this series, so Eljach has every chance of winning his first bracelet.
Omar Eljach
The most decorated player coming to the final table is Shaun Deeb, who sits down with the second biggest stack. Deeb has five bracelets to his name already and more than $7.5 million in WSOP winnings (more than $10 million in total live earnings). He has already been at two final tables in this WSOP-E and put six cashes onto his resume so far in Rozvodov. He brings the second biggest stack to the final table.
Shaun Deeb
Barny Boatman is the second most decorated player to make the final eight. He’s coming to the table with the 5th place stack of 7.7 million and Boatman is a legit “original gangster” in the poker world. Along with his brother Ross, Ram Vaswani, and Joe Beevers, the original Hendon Mob was all over the poker scene during the rise of poker in the early 2000s.
Barny Boatman
French players Alexandre Reard and Jonathan Pastore each have a single bracelet to their name and are looking to hit a pair on this final table.
Hong Kong’s Anson Tsang picked up his third Gold Bracelet in this year’s European poker adventure. He won Event #4: €2,000 Pot Limit Omaha for just shy of €100k. He has 78 cashes on the WSOP circuit including 13 on at the European event and five this year alone. His 13 cashes in Europe are worth more than a third of the total wins from his 63 cashes at the Vegas version.
Paul Phua Wins 1st Bracelet in 4th Cash
Paul Phua only has four cashes in WSOP events, but one of them is now a Gold Bracelet worth almost half a million euros. Phua has $26 million in lifetime earnings and is a regular on the super high roller circuit, and his bracelet reflects that deep bankroll. He won the €25k Platinum High Roller at the European festival this year, pocketing €482,433 and his first bit of WSOP jewelry.
The world of poker continues to demonstrate how collaborations contribute so effectively to the shared goal, with favourable results all round for those involved.
We’re proud to report our very own new venture in the form of the shiny new PokerListings Ranking Series, hosted by the fantastic Portomaso Casino, Malta. This latest addition to the already bustling poker scene in Malta is a worthy collaboration involving PokerListings, The Festival Series and the Portomaso, a leading poker venue with a great track record in hosting international poker festivals. One such will be the hotly anticipated leg of The Festival between 15-21 May, 2023, when the Series will come to the popular Mediterranean island and see poker fans in action at the Portomaso Casino in St. Julians. Check out The Festival Series Schedule for the first half 2023.
The first tournament in the PokerListings Ranking Series was held last Sunday and, by all accounts, was a tremendous success that augurs well for the future. The field of 76 players produced an exciting event, with 107 entries and 31 re-entries. Remarkably – and a testament to both the global popularity of poker and the important role that Malta plays – competitors came from 28 countries!
There’s certainly plenty of incentive to combine a trip to this perfect holiday destination with battling it out in this €130+20 buy-in event. First, there’s the guaranteed prize pool of €5,000. And with the winner being rewarded with a €550 seat to the big money The Festival Malta Main Event and second place a seat to the PokerListings Deepstack in Malta, it comes as no surprise that poker fans around Europe are already planning for this series, which continues with monthly fixtures until April 2023.
Here’s what those behind the PokerListings Ranking Series had to say. Festival Series founder, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk: “Excellent start to our new ranking series at Portomaso Casino. The PokerListings team and The Festival players from different parts of Europe joined the tournament alongside local heroes and even tourists. Poker at its best. Sadly, I busted out one hand after the re-entry period ended… GG, and congratulations to all the winners!”
Jonathan Micallef, on behalf of the hosts, the Portomaso Casino said “This series has been a long time coming since our first collaboration back in 2018. I must admit that the first event turned out well and we can only see increasing numbers in the following events, which will culminate in The Festival Series in May. The event had a very nice atmosphere and interesting play, and it was enjoyed by all players. This further consolidates the synchronicity between both parties. Looking forward to hosting the next one!”
So there you have it! There’s so much more to poker than sitting in your living room during the winter months…

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has gone European this week for the international version of the biggest live poker festival on the planet. Poker players from around the world have descended on King’s Casino, Rozvodov in the Czech Republic for the chance to win bracelets.
There are 15 events planned across the three-week festival including short deck games, mixed games, and lots of no limit hold ‘em. The series is now in the wind down phase, with the Main Event just kicking off today with Day 1a.
There are €5,000,000 guaranteed for the Main, which means they need more than 500 entries to cover the guarantee. Day 1a alone saw 442 entries before registration was closed so it looks like they’ll have no trouble keeping their promises for prizes.
There were a few big names in play for the opening day, including the Las Vegas Main Event champion, Espen Jorstad. Jorstad was sitting above his starting stack mid-way through the opening day of play, so he’s looking like he could have another solid run in this one.
Aside from the reigning Main Event champion, there are a few other notables in the game so far. UK legend Barny Boatman is in action, but will need to spin his stack back up after being nearly felted by Nacho Barbero near the start of Level 4.
A few other notable names are trying their hand today in the opening flight of the WSOP-E Main Event. Paulina Loeliger is near the top of the counts with almost 300k before the dinner break. Thomas Hueber and Anton Morgenstern also managed to stack up top ten stacks before the dinner break.
Among the other players in action on the first starting day were Dario Sammartino, Jack Sinclair, Ana Marquez, Patrik Antonius, Maria Lampropulos, Jessica Teusl, and Manig Loeser.
Players who didn’t get into the game for this opening flight will still have a chance for Main Event glory. Right now there is a second flight beeing played started at noon local time, and entries for both starting days will be open until about 10:30 pm local time, at the end of Level 13.
More events
The Main Event isn’t the only thing going on in Rozvodov right now, with 15 events across the whole festival. There are several games already in the books with a few players bagging bracelets already. Among the notables who have already added to their jewelry collection were Paul Phua, who added to his $26 million in wins by bagging the win in the Platinum High Roller event this week. German player Max Kruse also booked his first bracelet this week in the six-max Event #7.
There is still a lot of poker to play at WSOP-E, with the Main Event still registering, and three more events on the schedule before the festival comes to an end. Upcoming events outside the Main Event include WSOPE Event #13: PLO/NLH Mixed, WSOPE Event #14: No-Limit Hold’em Bounty Hunter, and WSOPE Event #15: No-Limit Hold’em Turbo Freezeout.

And that promise holds whatever the size of the bounty – whether the prize is $250 or $250,000, it’ll be doubled!
You might be aware that November sees the long-awaited arrival of a certain football tournament (or soccer, depending on which part of the world you’re in…) and, for many, every man and his dog will be glued to their TV screens for the duration of this hotly anticipated competition to see which is the greatest football nation. Poker fans tend also to be sports fans, so it’s with this in mind that the popular online poker room Unibet has a promotion running that revolves around this football extravaganza.
Adding an extra special element to their Poker Missions theme, Unibet’s Team Collector promotion celebrates the biggest showpiece of the greatest game, and there’ll be €35,000 in prizes up for grabs.
How It Works
As is the case with the best online poker promos, your easy peasy task is to carry out Missions while simply having fun at the tables. With each completed Mission you ‘collect’ one of the teams competing for glory in Qatar, and acquiring all four teams from one group is rewarded tickets, bonus points or cash spins.
As an extra incentive, by successfully navigating your way around Missions to scoop up all four teams in Group H you’ll secure a seat at an exclusive €5,000 Team Collector Tournament.
And there’s more! To spice things up yet further Unibet are holding a €30,000 raffle, for which tickets can be earned by collecting the team that ultimately lifts the champions’ trophy. Here are the prizes:
So, to sum up, here are the key points about this fantastic € 35,000 footie promo:
Open the promotion widget to find the Team Collector campaign and the current Mission to be completed.
Collect teams by completing Missions. There is one Mission per team.
Collect one full group (4 teams) to win prizes. Collect the country which wins the Football World Championships to earn a ticket to the €30,000 Team Collector raffle.
The €30,000 raffle takes place on 19 December at 18:00 CET.
The €5,000 Team Collector Tournament is on 17 December at 19:00 CET.
There’s more to online poker nowadays than just the universally known No Limit Hold’em variant, with Omaha having established itself as a modern player’s favourite. Omaha fans are in for a treat this month thanks to GGPoker’s upcoming Omaholic Series, which runs from 13 to 27 November and boasts a whopping $5 Million guaranteed prize pool.
It’s a testament to the popularity of Omaha that a series that is exclusively dedicated to Omaha tournaments and which has millions in prize money up for grabs is a natural part of the online poker environment. And it’s a great opportunity for less experienced tournament players to take advantage of, too, with buy-ins starting at a mere $5.40 as well as a comprehensive daily qualifications set-up that gives you the chance to win your way into bigger buy-in events for bargain basement prices.
Highlights include:
$5.40 buy-in, $100,000 GTD Omaholic Mini Bounty MILLION$ – Final Stage on 19 November
$54 buy-in, $250,000 GTD Omaholic Bounty MILLION$ – Final Stage on 20 November
$1,050 buy-in, $75,000 GTD Omaholic Sunday Main High Roller – 13, 20 and 27 November
As action-packed as the series will be, arguably the most fun could be the $210 buy-in Omaholic MYSTERY BOUNTY Main Event (Final Stage on 27 November), which features juicy bounties and will pay out at least $500,000…
Paul Burke, Head of PR at GGPoker: “It’s time for all lovers of Omaha poker to mark their calendars; their favourite tournament series is coming back! There are millions in cash prizes to be won and an Omaha Mystery Bounty Main Event to cap it all off – this Omaholic Series will be special.”
Anyone who’s into Omaha will recognise JNandezPoker Habegger and Minthon19, GGPoker’s OmahaSquad members who can regularly be found streaming while they battle it out at the highest-stakes Omaha tables, and who will be getting involved in the Omaholic Series.

Any budding poker star looking to improve nowadays could do worse than watch successful players in action to see how they think about the game and how they play, and Twitch is an excellent medium through which to do this. With this in mind, PokerStars – the big daddy of online poker – has shown that it has its finger on the poker pulse by adding an up-and-coming Twitch streamer to its impressive stable of Ambassadors. Announcing Michigan’s David ‘DavidKayePoker’ Kaye as the latest PokerStars expert.
Kaye will join fellow US-based ambassadors Keith “AccidentalGrenade” Becker and Mark “Naigo1” Foresta on Team PokerStars, as well as the likes of Lex Veldhuis, Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg, Fintan “easywithaces” Hand and Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot.
David has certainly earned his new role, having been involved in poker for over a decade. He started streaming cash games and tournaments on Twitch a couple of years ago and, more recently, began streaming on PokerStars Michigan after its launch in January 2021. Since then he has established himself as a top poker streamer after building up a thriving poker following and the community that results.
Not surprisingly, as tends to be the case with Poker Ambassadors at top online poker operators, Kaye has a number of successes under his belt. For example, he enjoyed a ‘home’ win after taking down the first ever $250 Sunday High Roller event on PokerStars Michigan in February 2021.
David had this to say about his new role: “I’m so happy and honoured to become a PokerStars Ambassador. I’ve been playing poker with my friends for years and turned my hobby into my dream job, so to now be part of the PokerStars family is pretty amazing.”
Managing Director of PokerStars US Severin Rasset: “We’re proud to grow our team in the US and add David to our epic roster of ambassadors. At PokerStars we have always championed new talent who are driven to grow, have great potential, and who create fun content, so we’re excited to welcome David.” David will play on PokerStars Michigan and stream on PokerStars Twitch channels and his own ‘DavidKayePoker’ Twitch channel.

Bankroll management might be considered by some to be a boring and unimportant subject, but sensibly looking after your money is (as in life!) an imperative of online poker – this is true even if you’re ‘just’ a recreational player. However talented you may be, skill could easily be rendered irrelevant if you don’t have some kind of sober approach regarding your bankroll.
Introducing the T$ Builder series at GGPoker, a leading operator that has established itself as innovative and championing the cause of the casual player. Before moving on to the unique T$ Builder series itself, let’s see what Tournament Dollars (T$) are and how you can use them.
Tournament Dollars (T$)
Tournament dollars were introduced by the GGNetwork to provide a flexible prize currency. Not only can T$ be used to buy into tournaments, but you can even use them to buy action for staking (T$ being converted into cash when credited to the seller’s account). Note that T$ can also be combined with cash to make up the entry fee for tournaments. As well as via T$ Builders, T$ can be earned in other ways, such as via special giveaways or leaderboards which award T$ as prizes.
T$ Builder Tournaments: How It Works
What’s great about this unique tournament series is that, apart from being universally affordable in terms of buy-in levels, NO FEE is charged! Literally 100% of the money generated in buy-ins is paid out in prizes.
And you can enjoy T$ Builder tournaments throughout the day, with an event getting underway every 30 minutes – at 17 and 47 minutes past each hour, in fact.
There are four buy-in levels – $0.25, $0.50, $1 and $2 – and the minimum number of players required for a tournament to go ahead is just two! Furthermore, all T$ Builder events have a 30-minute late registration period.
All prizes are paid out in T$, with each prize pool differing based on the total number of registered players.

Online poker comes in various guises, and here’s something refreshingly different…
After successfully launching earlier this year, Match Poker Online has big plans for 2023, but before that they aim to end 2022 with a bang. The app is hosting an exciting ‘poker for all’ international competition in the form of the Match Poker Online World Cup. But first, let’s have a look at how the innovative Match Poker differs from conventional online poker providers.
Match Poker: How It Works
Match Poker’s own ‘Enjoy playing The Sport of Poker – where skill beats luck’ is a good start, with an emphasis being placed on the skill element. This in itself is interesting, given that poker is anyway primarily a game of skill.
Match Poker is played like a regular No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em poker game, with a key difference being in how the game is ‘scored’, and using what criteria.
Crucially, with Match Poker you compete against other players who are playing the same hand as you, from the same position as you! Taking the Battle Royale game as an example, there are six tables playing the same hand simultaneously. If you are in Seat 4, you will be dealt the exact same hole cards as every other player in Seat 4 at the other tables – and these are your opponents. The aim is to perform better than your rivals, with the player who handles the same situation the most skilfully coming out on top!
The beauty of this concept is that it literally does level the playing field, with all players having to deal with the same conditions. If you get a lucky Turn card, so will the others in the same respective seat, and you are no more handicapped by being dealt 7h 2s than your opponents… what matters is who copes best.
Once the dust has settled, players are ranked according to their performance, each player having a dedicated IFMP rating (just as international chess players have a FIDE rating, for example). IFMP stands for the International Federation of Match Poker, the governing body of sports poker, promoting poker and its Match Poker variation as a skill game and a mind sport. Note that the IFMP is to Match Poker what the ICC is to cricket, or the FIA is to Formula One.
The Match Poker app has excellent, player-friendly graphics and gameplay, and is packed with features that help you improve your game by accessing valuable statistics and data.
Match Poker Online World Cup 2022
Right… now that we know the unique approach at Match Poker, here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Match Poker Online World Cup 2022. The ‘everyman’ (and woman!) ethos is key – the point is that you don’t have to be one of the world’s elite to compete for world status bragging rights! Eligible players from around the globe have the same opportunity to represent their country.
There are various ways to guarantee eligibility to take part by playing on the Match Poker app, such as achieving an IFMP rating of at least 1,200, winning a Weekly Challenge or other competitions, being in the top 15% of different ‘tiers’ and so on. Note that such criteria must be met by 27 November, so if you’re not already a Match Poker convert, get your skates on and sign up asap.
Be In It to Win It
Once you’re in, you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of months of planning and continuous growth on the app (for which there’s a host of additions and extras lined up!), with each competition featuring Playoffs and Finals exclusive to players of the same Rating Tier. Indeed, the Match Poker Online World Cup revolves around an exciting, novel format.
For most players, the Playoffs will take place on December 3-4, with the Finals on December 10-11. Players in the US can compete on December 2-3, with the Finals on December 9-10. The winner of the Ruby division (the top competition) will be crowned the overall Match Poker World Cup Champion.
In recent years there have been a number of interesting partnerships in the world of poker, and the latest to take note of sees PokerStars and Paddy Power join forces as the new official sponsors of the Irish Poker Open.
Those of you who haven’t yet experienced this event – which is the oldest in Europe and will be held at the excellent RDS Ballsbridge Dublin from 3-10 April, 2023 – should make a note in your diary now and start planning ahead, because this prestigious festival is what Live Poker is all about.
Qualifiers Galore… Dublin Here You Come
With both of these major online poker operators promoting the event, tournament fans are spoilt for choice in terms of winning their way to Ireland’s bustling, welcoming capital at a bargain basement price. Packed qualifying schedules, with an online satellites set-up similar to the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) events, provide players with bankrolls of all sizes the chance to sit down and do battle for a share of the €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool up for grabs in the Main Event.
Note that when Steve O’Dwyer beat a field of 2,040 entries to win €318,700 for first place in the most recent edition of the Main Event, the €1,000,000 guarantee was almost doubled!
Do like O’Dwyer
To add to the fun, PokerStars will run a not-to-be-missed curtain-raiser in the shape of an online Irish Poker Open series, details of which will be announced shortly.
Enjoy the Emerald Isle’s Famous Craic
Expect no shortage of fun and frolics both on and off the felt from the minute you set foot in Dublin. Paul O’Reilly and JP McCann, CEOs of The Irish Poker Open, said: “We are very proud to announce PokerStars and Paddy Power as the official sponsors of The Irish Poker Open and we are looking forward to bringing our players another epic Irish Open Poker Festival, whilst welcoming new players from around the globe!”
Given that the Irish Poker Open is the longest-running No Limit Hold’em tournament outside of Las Vegas, with a history dating back over 42 years, yet the organisers of the event are looking to make the 2023 edition the greatest ever, this is your chance to be a part of poker history…

The PokerStarsquest to provide the best of both worlds by offering great online AND bricks & mortar events continues, with SIX coveted Platinum Passes being awarded in November!
It’s good to see poker fans in the US once again being able to get the most out of poker, and thanks to special Golden Ticket Freerolls and the PokerStars Fall Fest Series the PokerStars community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan has even more chances to win a sought-after Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC).
The temperature is about to reach boiling point with the world-leading online poker operator’s Golden Ticket Freerolls promotion about to give out a Platinum Pass in each of the aforementioned states, and there are three more ready to be awarded…
Fall Fest
The players in these states will have another bite at the cherry via the PokerStars Fall Fest Series Leaderboards, which run from 11-28 November, with the series itself returning for its second year from 18-28 November.
This is indeed a fantastic time for these US would-be Poker Tournament legends, with a packed schedule that features 120 events across the three states. And the guaranteed prize pools will total $2 million – $1 million in PA, $400,000 in NJ and $500,000 in MI. Note that the $200 buy-in Main Events begin on 27 November, and guarantees are $150,000, $100,000 and $50,000 in PA, MI and NJ respectively.
As well as buy-ins in this bumper series starting as low as $5 it’s also possible to win your way to bigger buy-in events via a comprehensive qualifying set-up that includes satellites costing just $1. These get underway on 11 November, and as far as the bonus prizes of Platinum Passes are concerned, the Fall Fest Leaderboards will see the top 500 players (PA), 300 (MI) and 200 (NJ) each earn a seat in a specialFreeroll on 29 November.
More US Platinum Pass Winners
Golden Ticket and Fall Fest Platinum Pass recipients will join fellow US online and live winners who include the three recent October Leaderboard victors and the Road to PSPC Pittsburgh champion, who topped a field of 420 to bag both the Pass and a cool $22,727 in cash.

There are conventional cash games, and there’s the so-called Rush & Cash all-action version that you can enjoy at the player-friendly online poker room that is GGPoker …
In an age of instant gratification and ‘quick’ fixes, it should come as no surprise that online poker operators endeavour to provide games that have an emphasis on action and maximum entertainment. Thrills and spills is the name of the game, with less waiting around and more involvement. This is especially important in cash games.
Rush & Cash, GGPoker’s very own fast-fold Hold’em and Omaha offering, plays like a conventional cash game but with one fundamental – and exciting – difference, this being that, instead of having to hang around after folding for the next hand to begin, you can dive into a new one instantly.
Rush & Cash: How It Works
It couldn’t be simpler!
After folding, simply pressing the Rush button sends you straight to a brand new hand against new opponents.
Even if it’s not your turn to act you can Rush to a new table as long as you’re not facing a bet.
Players are seated randomly for each hand.
Players are seated on the Button an equal amount of times over time.
You have the option, despite no longer being involved in a hand, to watch it play out.
Run It Multiple Times (RITT) is not available at Rush & Cash tables.
And there’s more… you still get to take advantage of the usual rewards players can earn at GGPoker! First, you can rack up GGPoker’s trademark Fish Buffet points while having fun at the Rush & Cash tables! Then there are Cash Drops. This great feature revolves around chips literally dropping down on to the table during randomly-selected hands. Cash Drops range from 10BB to a whopping 600BB! Note that the smaller Cash Drops are added to the pot to create more action, while larger Cash Drops are divided, with each player receiving a share.
Note that when a pot reaches 30BB or more, 0.5BB is taken in order to build up the Cash Drop pool.

Rush & Cash is just one reason to have GGPoker as one of your go-to online poker rooms – check out the latest poker offers and bonuses and dive into the action!
Americas Cardroom has an interesting take on one of the more controversial aspects of poker, namely the subject of ratholing.
When poker was depicted in the old US ‘wild west’ movies as cowboys shooting their rivals dead for cheating at the card tables in dusty saloons or Mississippi riverboats, the theme was violence but, looking at it from another angle, it points to the fact that, even in those days, there was honour in the game. Cheating, obviously, is a cardinal sin that can – and absolutely should – have potentially permanent consequences for those who are caught.
However, there are other actions and practices that are, at best, frowned upon. Slow rolling, for example, is one such.
Ratholing tends to be taken even more seriously. It is defined from a specific poker perspective as cashing out chips from a (cash) game table and subsequently rebuying with a smaller amount of chips. Despite it not yielding the ‘offender’ a meaningful advantage, it is nevertheless almost universally considered a poker sin, to the point that online poker rooms, in their endeavours to be seen as eminently ethical, try to address the practice in various ways (and many have made life more difficult for short-stackers generally by upping minimum sit-down levels at their cash tables).
Thanks to an intriguing feature at Americas Cardroom called 7-Day No Rathole tables, those players for whom any kind of ratholing spoils the game can enjoy their poker sessions without having to worry about coming across these potentially troublesome opponents.
‘Are You Ready to Play for Stacks? Looking for Some Nosebleed Stakes Action?’
– these are the rhetorically inviting questions we’re presented with by ACR, and a perfectly good answer is ‘Yes’… Indeed, while this poker room has its fair share of attractions for tournament players, it’s great to see cash game fans afforded some serious thought, too.
How It Works
To make it possible to ‘spin up’ in spectacular fashion during the course of a week, you’re able to sit down at the special 7-Day No Rathole tables with a buy-in of just 10 Big Blinds. Ideally, you dazzle with your fearless, opportunistic aggression, and leave with a profit. However, to continue this particular quest, if you wish to return to the 7-Day No Rathole Tables you must do so with the same amount of chips that you left with, and that amount is locked in for seven days. Win in that session, and the (bigger) stack you leave with will be your tack when you next join the tables.
Once the seven days is over, you’re free to start all over again for the minimum buy-in… Stakes range from $0.10/$0.25 to a hefty $50/$100. Whatever your bankroll, Americas Cardroom offers you a great chance to dream big at the cash tables.
So, what are you waiting for? That stack won’t build itself! Check out the latest offers and bonuses and dive into the action…
‘Winning tastes sweeter against your friends!’ – it is with this truism that partypoker greets us on introducing one of their great features, namely Private Games.
While poker should be, of course, a fun game for everyone who plays it – from the absolute beginner to the hardened pro – it nevertheless has ‘degrees’ of fun/seriousness (depending on how you look at it). Occasionally it’s nice to just relax with your friends, and it’s with this in mind that partypoker’s Private Games came about.
It’s often only tournament fans who can avail themselves of such a facility, but this feature specifically focuses on cash games. You can start your private club with players from around the globe and set up games that create a perfect environment for the ideal ‘virtual home’ game.
Private Games: How It Works
It couldn’t be simpler. The virtual poker world is your proverbial oyster! Your private club is your very own. And not only can you start up to five clubs, but you can join as many as you like!
Each club has its own lobby, and you’re able to create your own personally tailored cash games, with multiple options. You can even add to the home game party atmosphere thanks to partypoker’s fun-filled gamification features (so-called throw animations are a fan favourite) – it’s what online poker is all about.
Private Games can be enjoyed on both mobile and desktop versions, but the actual club must be set up via the latter.
How to Set Up Your Private Poker Club
Click on the Club Games tab in the Lobby
Click on ‘Create Club’

Invite friends
… And then you’re good to go! And, remember, you can host up to five clubs, with any combination of friends, and different types of cash games.
To top it all off, private games allow you and your friends to earn up to 40% Cashback while having fun at your own personal table, the rake being the same as with regular games.
If you haven’t yet joined partypoker, and you’re serious about the health of your bankroll, check out the latest online poker bonuses and offers …

Of course, Vegas aside, you’ll find many tournaments at WPT Global, which is also a world-leading Cash Games site as well as offering great Sit & Go games, and more. You can join today and take advantage of the poker offers and bonuses available. Have fun, and good luck!
There was a time when poker was essentially a man’s game, the typical environment of the traditional ‘bricks & mortar’ poker world being very much male oriented. The arrival of online poker meant that an untapped global pool of would-be poker aces could become part of a community that had hitherto seemed not the most attractive prospect. And these newcomers, of course, included women.
The subject of women in sports and games has been – and still remains – a difficult issue in regards to establishing parity between men and women, but over recent years in particular considerable progress has been made, not least in the poker world. (You can read about such positivity in this article about Ivonne Montealegre).
As far as efforts being made to continue to steer the game in the right direction are concerned, PokerStars deserves a great deal of credit for introducing Women’s Sunday as part of their impressive tournaments offering.
Many of you will be aware that Sunday is the biggest part of the week when it comes to online poker tournaments, so it’s fitting that women players get to have their own exclusive big-money event at the busiest time.
Women’s Sunday: How to Play
Running every week, the events can be bought into directly, or you can win your place at the table via the many satellites that are held during the week. It’s even possible to qualify using StarsCoin.
Note that all Women tournaments are restricted (surprise, surprise) to female players only. In matters regarding eligibility, the PokerStars Management decision is final.
Obviously, the presence of Women-only events is aimed at highlighting an important aspect of the game as well as providing those who might be new to poker an environment in which they might feel more comfortable as they get used to what online poker is all about. Meanwhile, there’s the usual juicy, player-friendly tournament poker menu to make the most of, so women should of course make sure they avail themselves of all options, one such being the popular megabucks Sunday Million fixture, which nowadays is a Progressive Knockout Bounty tournament.
