Together with StatName, we continue to cover the results of the best cash game players across different stakes and rooms over the past month. We try to highlight interesting patterns and standout performances at every limit, from NL10 all the way up to the overall rankings.
But first, as always, a few important notes:
- StatName tracks net profit at cash tables. Rakeback, leaderboard rewards, and promotional bonuses are not included in the statistics.
StatName only tracks results at regular cash tables (fast-fold tables are excluded).
StatName data may differ slightly from your HUD due to import inaccuracies, but the sample sizes remain representative and give a reliable picture of player performance.
NL/PL10: Very Strange Things at the Micro Stakes in July

Here are 3 reasons why:
- The top players earned much less than usual. The leaderboard’s #1 showed just $648 in profit.
- The highest earner was a PLO regular, not an NLHE player. ThrewItAway topped the rankings. He had briefly led the micro-stakes leaderboards a couple of times two years ago.
- Check out the top 3, where CarroLz appears. Typically, players need 20K–40K hands to break into the leaderboard. CarroLz played only 1.6K hands.
NL/PL25: Very Active Omaha Games on 888poker in July
The micro stakes continue to surprise with unusual results. Among the NL/PL25 leaderboard’s top players, there are 7 Omaha players and 8 NLHE players. Canadian poker pro Cory “UGOTPZD” Carroll (PS) claimed the #1 spot. Carroll has been playing poker since the 2000s and even has a Wikipedia page.
What else is unusual about the NL/PL25 leaderboard? Five of the players are 888poker regulars. So if you play PLO at this stake, make sure to sign up.

NL/PL50 and NL/PL100: Earning $2K a Month in Poker Is Possible on Almost Any Site
Think poker is overcrowded and there’s no room under the sun for everyone? That’s not true.
$0.25/0.50 is a mysterious stake. Every month, something strange seems to happen here. July was no exception:
- Six players booked profits of over $2K
The leaderboard featured four different rooms: Winamax, PokerStars, iPoker (RedStar), and 888poker
As you can see, there’s money to be made in poker across multiple sites.
A similar situation occurred at NL/PL100. The top 15 featured players from six rooms/networks — and in each of them, players managed to make $2K+ profits.
NL/PL200: HIFIGIRL Absolutely Crushed the Limit
Often the leaderboards feature the same names month after month. It might make you think no new players exist, that regs grind the same stake for years and just farm the newcomers.
That’s not the case.
Who HIFIGIRL really is might only be known to HIFIGIRL themselves. This player put in a modest 2.2K hands and won $10K (50 stacks). The win rate is mind-blowing: 227 bb/100.
In second place is vadjkeee with $6K profit. He was in the NL100 top list in May and June, and in July likely tried to move up a stake — and succeeded. Congrats!
NL/PL500: David Lacasa Crushed The Limit Too
A similar story played out at NL/PL500. Spanish player David Lacasa played a modest 1.1K hands and earned $9.4K in profit.
Results at Limits from NL/PL1K and Higher
Limit | Player (Room) | Profit | Hands | Win Rate (bb/100) |
---|---|---|---|---|
NL/PL1K | VeryFairy (WPN) | $24K | 8K (NL) | 30.5 |
NL/PL2K | Bring_Them_Home (GG) | $67K | 24K (NL) | 13.6 |
NL/PL5K | Gladiatauren (WPN) | $40K | 2.2K (PL) | 37.1 |
Overall: Stanislau “20KaratJesus” Melhui Back on Top
The highest profit in July came from Belarusian player Stanislau “20KaratJesus” Melhui: $116K over a 3.1K-hand sample at PL10K. It’s not his first time in our leaderboard — back in June 2025, he booked a $97K win.
