The Schedule Is Out for The Festival Rozvadov 2024!
The last stop for The Festival Series in 2023 was in Bratislava. During eight days, The Festival participants could enjoy poker-, casino- and sports betting tournaments at Banco Casino. Looking back, it’s safe to say the event was yet another slam-dunk by Martin “Franke” Von Zweigbergk and his Festival crew.
After The Festival Bratislava, players didn’t have to wait too long before the Festival revealed its first stop in 2024. In June, The Festival will kick off their 2024 season in Rozvadov. A couple of days ago the official tournament schedule was released and there’s no doubt we’re in for a treat. Let’s take a look at what’s happening at The Festival Rozvadov this summer!
Mixed Games Action
The Festival Rozvadov 2024 will be played May 31st-June 9th at King’s Casino. This will be the first stop ever for the event in the Czech Republic and judging by The Festival Rozvadov 2024 tournament schedule, we have a very promising live poker event coming up.
The first thing one should know about Franke (who founded The Festival) is that he enjoys action. There’s no dull moments when Franke is involved and the schedule is more or less a reflection of his personality. Apart from more common Texas No Limit Hold ‘Em and Pot Limit Omaha-tournaments, there’s a lot of Mixed Games in the schedule. The Festival have received a lot of positive feedback for arranging these Mixed Games poker tournaments; an educated guess is that many poker players appreciates the event thanks to all the different varieties of poker to enjoy.
Sviten Special, Crazy Pineapple, 8-Game, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw… the list of different Mixed Games featured in the schedule is long. One that deserves to be highlighted a little extra though, is the €550 H.O.R.S.E.S Main Event. This game first saw the light of day during the Bratislava stop in 2023 and it was a huge success. Franke felt like the more known Mixed Game H.O.R.S.E. wasn’t exciting enough, so he added another S at the end, standing for Sviten. Players in the H.O.R.S.E.S event must master six different poker disciplines and naturally, it’s a very prestigious Mixed Games tournament.
The Main Event Has €500 000 GTD
The cherry on top is naturally the €550 Main Event. The tournament holds a €500 000 GTD and with six Day 1 flights, we predict many players will battle it out for The Festival Rozvadov Main Event trophy. Reigning champion from Bratislava is Gabriel Rymar who outlasted a field of 1 025 players.
