PokerStars November 2025 Updates: What’s New Behind the Scenes

While we’re only a week in, November is already shaping up to be a busy one for PokerStars. Like always, there’s events like the Spin&Go Showdown and Live League to look forward to, but we’ve actually decided to take a look at some subtle but useful upgrades that are going down at PokerStars this month.

Let’s take a look at what’s been rolled out so far.

Tournament Tickets Are Now on the Web

One of the handier updates for November is the addition of tournament ticket in the Promotions & Rewards Hub. No desktop or mobile app required.

This means players in several key markets (including the UK, Bulgaria, Canada (Ontario), Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Greece, France and others) can now check their available poker tickets directly from the web.

That includes expiration dates and the exact tournaments they’re eligible for. Clicking on a ticket opens the Tournaments View, showing the full list of options where the ticket can be used.

From there, players select a tournament and go straight into the registration screen in a new tab. It’s objectively a small change, but one that makes it a lot easier to put unused tickets to work.

Mercury Lite Brings Speed to the Table

For those of opting for the desktop app, you’ll be happy to know that a new table theme has been added this month: Mercury Lite. It’s basically a stripped-down version of the existing Mercury theme, now optimized to match the performance of Carbon Lite.

What this means is a smoother experience, especially when multi-tabling. Mercury Lite supports Mystery Bounty, KO, and SAG formats, and can be enabled either directly from the table or through the lobby.

Just like with Carbon Lite, you’ll notice the animations are trimmed down to single frames, shaders are disabled, and the overall effect is a faster, cleaner layout that reduces lag, particularly for those running older machines.

In-Game Survey Feature Rolls Out in the UK

Finally, there’ a more player-facing change that quietly launched in the UK: an in-game survey prompt. It’s a new tool PokerStars is testing out to collect feedback directly from players while they’re using the desktop platform. If you’re playing in a regulated UK market, you may see the prompt pop up during a session, asking you a few quick questions.

Don’t want to see it? There’s an option to toggle the message off in your settings. But if you do take part, that feedback goes straight back to PokerStars’ product teams and helps steer future improvements.
