PLO $2/5 Show Tables Now Available on CoinPoker

CoinPoker Added Show Tables Right After the PLO Cash Game World Championship

The PLO Cash Game World Championship took place on CoinPoker last month. The winner was godfromstock — we wrote more about him here. During the Championship, games were played on Show Tables. The key feature of these tables is that players’ cards are always revealed at showdown.

For example, if all opponents folded, the winning hand was still shown. If several players reached showdown, everyone’s cards were revealed.

This is an important feature in PLO, where equity between hands is often close or polarized. Seeing what hands opponents take to showdown provides extra information: how often they bluff/value-bet, whether they’re willing to bet second or third-best hands, or if they only bet with the nuts, etc.

Now CoinPoker has made tables with mandatory card reveal available in the regular lobby. Here’s what changed:

• PLO2K: 6-max show replaced by 7-max original
• PLO500: 7-max original replaced by 6-max show with $0.83 ante

Regular Omaha tables on CoinPoker are played in a 7-max format.

When Is There the Most Cash Game Action in PLO on CoinPoker?

Look for the Show tables in the lobby under the name PLO ₮500 6-max Special. Today at 16:00 UTC, two such tables were running.

Games at limits up to $0.10/0.25 run around the clock (including 5-card PLO). Each stake level typically has 4-5 tables in PLO4 and 4-5 tables in PLO5. Higher-stakes games usually gather after 16:00 UTC.
