CoinPoker Expanded Its Team With Three New Sponsored Pros

At a time when major poker rooms are relentlessly searching for new ways to attract more new players, CoinPoker decided to follow the beaten path and, for the second time in 2026, hire new ambassadors.

In February 2026, the first quad comprised Frenchman Yohan “YoHViral” Gilbert, Argentinian Mariano Grandoli, and two Americans — Brantzen Wong and Alex Duvall. The March 2026 trio includes more young and recognizable players and content creators.

Abby Merk

Young American professional poker player Abby Merk made a splash in the poker community in 2025 by being active everywhere: as a girl boss at the poker tables, a content creator on X, YouTube, Instagram, and a star of cash game broadcasts alongside legends like Phil Hellmuth.

Her infectious smile, sense of humor, and courage in expressing her opinion on controversial topics made Abby a face for a prominent part of the poker community: young competitive women.

But she wasn’t just hanging around — she was also playing poker. And quite successfully. In November 2025, Abby won her first title, winning the APT Championship NT$3K Atomic Pineapple tournament for NT$85,700.

It’s not clear yet what exactly she will be doing as part of her new partnership. So far, she’s started by advertising a month of 100% rakeback on CoinPoker, as well as “lending” her face to a 150% casino bonus banner on the site.

Lasse Jagd Lauritsen

At first glance, Danish poker streamer (and former PokerStars Team Pro) WisternJL is a rather surprising choice for the CoinPoker team. Mainly because he was relatively quiet on social media from October 2025 to March 2026, streaming only on Twitch, where he has almost 27K subscribers. But therein lies the catch.

The last time Lasse was active on social media was when Scott “Pokerbrahs” Kenyon posted about his 250 hours — over 10 days! — of nonstop poker streaming on Twitch:

Lasse commented on this, saying that he set this record by accident while trying to complete a bankroll challenge:

I am out here beating twitch poker records because I am slow at building a bankroll 😂

It turned out he even slept during the stream so as to not interrupt his session which  was a “little bit weird the first couple of days” — but then he got used to it.

He has also been a loyal ambassador for PokerStars for a full five years, doing his best to attract young players to online poker by being outspoken and genuine and regularly streaming and attending live tournaments when needed.

Such a dedicated professional player is exactly what the public part of the CoinPoker team is missing, as it has recently recruited a slew of high rollers, content creators, and live poker players, leaving the poker community’s largest segment — low- and mid-stakes online grinders — underrepresented.

Alejandro Andres Lococo

Alejandro is another former PokerStars ambassador, an Argentine battle rapper and blogger known by his stage name Papo MC, who also is a big fan of poker.

He may not be as popular among the English-speaking portion of the poker community but he is incredibly popular in Latin America, with over 2.58 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.8 million followers on Twitch.

However, Alejandro isn’t just a tourist coming to play poker. He has already won several major tournaments, including:

€2K NLH Deep StackEPT Prague2022€88,560
€1K NLH Hyper TurboEPT Barcelona2022€63,800

Him being added to the CoinPoker team is perhaps the most unsurprising of all three March additions. Almost from the beginning, the brand has shown a great interest in Latin America and Argentina in particular, not only through various geo-targeted promotions but also through a partnership with the Argentinian Football Association.

However, with the arrival of PapoMC, the room has every chance to reach a new level of coverage in this region, using his popularity to promote its brand among young people across Latin America.
