apestyles Won the OSS XL Title and $50K

Even though he left the team over three years ago, Jonathan Van Fleet continues to play on ACR Poker.  After leaving ACR, apestyles managed to change two more teams — first he was in WPT Global, and in 2025 he moved to CoinPoker. However, his biggest wins and winnings are still happening in Winning Poker Network.

On March 15th, 2026, Jonathan became a triumphant of $109 OSSXL #6 MB $500,000 Gtd, winning a $46,976.21 prize and $3,250 in bounties.

How apestyles Got the OSS XL Title

There were 5,032 entries in the tournament but only 485 players moved to Day 2. They completed the event in just 6.5 hours, with 1.5 hours spent solely on the final table.

apestyles entered the final table as the chip leader and allowed his opponents to eliminate each other while he carefully continued to maintain his stack. The remaining finalists did his work for him, sending four of the seven players home in the first half hour.

The moment three players were left, they immediately decided to check the deal option. However, Van Fleet wasn’t satisfied with the terms and refused, complaining about the impossibility of discussing the deal with his opponents and finding a better distribution of the prize money.

The game lasted an hour after that. Jonathan grinded hard to beat opponents and succeeded in the end, welcoming his new title, while clapping and shouting: “Champion!”.

By the way, the top bounty in this event was won by British player 2RAZZIII, they finished in 26th place with $54,625 in bounties.

Jonathan also commented on his victory on X in a humorous way:

Jonathan Van Fleet

“People ask me about mental game a lot. Yesterday I looked at my screen and thought “wow I have way too many tables open.” Two minutes later I registered the $10k Phil’s Thrill. Luckily, one of the other tables was this one!   I know all money spends the same, but outlasting 5,000 runners and turning $100 into $50k hits a lil different. Woot!”
