Multi-Tabling Multi-Flight Tournaments at Americas Cardroom

People are into real money online poker for all sorts of reasons. Some are happy to test themselves at the Texas Hold'em or Omaha cash tables in a sort of intellectual challenge, others dream of hitting a life-changing Sit & Go jackpot, and others play online poker tournaments for the thrills and spills or, maybe, in a quest for fame and fortune.

Americas Cardroom has something for everyone - as any online poker operator should, of course. It’s important for a provider to appeal to those across the spectrum of poker fans, from beginners and hobbyists to the more serious, profit-oriented players.

A successful and proven approach tends to come in the shape of a varied tournament offering, and coming up with fixtures that have a universal appeal helps.

When ACR introduced two new Sunday multi-flight tournaments not long ago, they certainly delivered on this front. As is usual with this forward-thinking cardroom, players’ varying bankroll sizes were taken into account so that everyone gets a taste of decent tournaments. In this case the options are a $2.50 buy-in event with a tasty $10,000 guaranteed prize pool, and a $66 buy-in tournament boasting a guaranteed $150,000 to battle away for.

Multi-Tabling Means Double the Fun at ACR

Not accidentally, the $10,000 GTD tournament runs along the very same weekly Day 1 Flights set-up as the popular Sunday Squeeze, so it offers players a perfect opportunity to multi-table without having the annoying problem of having to keep adjusting between contrasting formats. Note that Day 2 is every Sunday at 6:05pm ET.

Meanwhile, the $150,000 GTD fixture also has dozens of weekly Day 1 Flights, with Day 2 taking place every Sunday at 5:30pm ET. Appreciating that this or that start time will have varying degrees of convenience depending on where in the world players live, ACR have made sure to feature Day 1’s for both tournaments that are designed for poker fans across all time zones.

And bankroll considerations have been addressed, too, so those smaller bankrolled players who don’t want to be limited to playing just the $10,000 event can take advantage of a host of affordable daily satellites for the $66 buy-in tournament. It’s a great time to play poker...
