More Mystery Bounty action to come in $1M The Festival Online at 888Poker
Like all major sporting events, The Festival Online at 888poker features so many mouth-watering tournaments that poker fans are chomping at the bit to get involved, with plenty of opportunities for all those players who dream of online poker tournament success to fight for their share of the $1,000,000 in total prize money.
It should be pointed out that this series, which culminates when the final table of the $200,000 GTD Main Event is streamed live on 888pokerTV on 11 April, is different from the norm in that it’s the online manifestation of The Festival Series which, since launching in 2021, has become an increasingly popular and successful player favourite. Mystery Bounty Tournaments
Mystery Bounty tournaments are fast becoming real money online poker’s latest big thing, and The Festival Online is addressing demand by including this entertaining - and potentially very profitable! - take on the bounty tournament format in the packed schedule.
As the name suggests, in a Mystery Bounty event the booty you pick up for eliminating an opponent is hidden right until you knock them out, thus adding even more excitement to an already thrilling ride.
Of course, this element also means there’s an even bigger chance of landing a big payout just for eliminating a single player, and this is what happened in the $109 buy-in Mystery Bounty Opening Event which, incidentally, had 868 entries and broke the $100,000 guarantee to finally pay out $107,200!
The final table details (below) will serve to whet your appetite, but note that the recipient of the most cash in this tournament didn’t even make the top 20 places! Trendki11 finished an anyway impressive 21st for $291.72, but managed to pocket the amazing $10,000 Mystery Bounty, too, eventually winning a tournament-topping $10,515...

The next action will take place on Thursday, 23 March, with the $55 buy-in, $20,000 GTD Mystery Bounty 8-Max and the $109 buy-in PKO Turbo Deepstack, which has a $15,000 GTD prize pool. Thursday also features a Day 1 Flight tournament for the $160 buy-in Texas PKO, which is a 2-Day event.
