How ACR Reshuffle Works

How ACR Reshuffle Works

The Reshuffle is a unique feature on ACR Poker and other Winning Poker Network poker rooms crafted specifically for Omaha games. On this page, you will learn all useful information about this feature.

What is the Reshuffle on ACR Poker

The Reshuffle isn’t a type of poker game. It is a feature created to make cheating in Omaha games less plausible.

It works quite simply:

  • Players seat at the table with specific shield-like turquoise sign of the Reshuffle table
  • Cards are dealt in order — each player can’t see their hand until the player to the right of them decide their action
  • If a player folds their pocket cards preflop, they do not go muck but instead return into the deck, shuffle with remaining cards and can appear on the streets during the hand

There is no option to choose to fold, call or raise preflop before you have looked at your cards in your turn.

Where to Find Reshuffle Games

Tables with the Reshuffle can be found in two sections of ACR Poker lobby: Cash Games and High Stakes. Both offer the same games with this function — PLO, PLO5, PLO5 H/L.

Hold’em and Stud tables do not support Reshuffle.

All Omaha tournaments, including PLO8 and even The Venom Mystery Bounty PLO, work with the Reshuffle function. They do not have special identification. However, this information can be found in every Omaha tourney lobby inside the informational panel.

Why Reshuffle Cards

When cards folded preflop are not discarded but returned to the deck and can be dealt again, dishonest players cannot actually collude because the information about the discarded cards becomes irrelevant, as they may or may not show on the board.

Thus, the Reshuffle feature helps the poker room make the game safer for honest players and more difficult for cheaters who do not want to play fairly.
