The Cup Challenge: How It Works
The tournament itself gets underway at 5pm ET on Saturday, 19 November, and has a buy-in of just $6.60 so that anyone can join the fun. The aim is to finish the tournament among the top 32 players and, if you manage this, your eventual finishing position has some significance...
In addition to your share of the prize pool, depending on your final placing in the top 32 of the Cup Challenge, you will also be assigned one of the 32 competing nations’ teams in the World Cup (see below). And that’s your job done! All that remains is for you to enjoy the ‘footie’ and, if by the end of the competition your given team lifts the famous winner’s trophy, you’ll be awarded $1,000 in ACR Tickets! This isn’t your usual online poker tournament by any means.

Finally, those players who succeed in making the top 32 in The Cup Challenge will be assigned their team according to finishing position, as below:
