Purple Lounge hosts many tournaments with buy-ins from $1 to hundreds of dollars. The tournaments are well populated and fast, and play is usually somewhat loose. Because many of the tournaments are re-buy events, play in the early stages is often extremely loose - be sure to note the type of tournament before joining.
Purple Lounge also runs monthly $150,000 and $250,000 tournaments that draw a large number of players. There are daily qualifiers running for these tournaments with buy-ins as low as $5.50. They also offer some qualifiers to big live events, like the Monte Carlo Millions and the European Poker Tour.
Purple Lounge has also added a host of new tournaments in the last few months, and filled their 2007 schedule with lots of great offerings.
Now on the schedule: a "Nothing to Lose" multi-table tournament every Sunday, with a $5.50 buy-in and a $1,000 prize pool split between the top 12 players, and your buy-in completely reimbursed if you lose.
