The high of beating Daniel Negreanu for $150k this weekend didn’t last long for Viktor “Isildur1” Blom as he lost $423k last night.

It certainly wasn’t due to a lack of effort as Blom played 4,011 hands of $50/$100 PLO and No-Limit Hold’em.

Unfortunately for Blom, he was absolutely crushed by Rui “PepperoniF” Cao. In a little over 2,000 hands Blom lost $467k.

The Scandinavian phenom would go on to record a small victory against Dan “jungleman12” Cates in No-Limit Hold’em but it was only enough to bring his overall losses down to $423k.

It’s been an up-and-down year for Blom on PokerStars but he’s certainly down now. Including last night’s loss, Blom has lost over $500k on the site this year.

Perhaps the only positive for Blom is that he has another SuperStar Showdown match scheduled against Negreanu on Sunday.

Meanwhile on Full Tilt Gus Hansen continues to play some of the best online poker of his life. He took down $135k last night in heads-up $500/$1,000 Cap PLO and thanks to other victories this weekend he’s up nearly $4 million in 2011.

Hansen has not recorded a winning year online since 2006 but it looks like he has a good chance of changing that in a big way this year.

Other big winners from last night included Rafi “refaelamit” Amit (+$142k), Ben86 (+$71k), gavz101 (+$64k) and LokoIsBack (+$57k).

Meanwhile Dan “w00ki3z” Cates (-$124k), harrington25 (-$104k), ChrisFun123 (-$86k) and JonCage06 (-$76k) all contributed to their opponent’s bankrolls.
