Deeb Strikes Again With Third SCOOP Title

Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb: Stud king.

If the 2012 SCOOP wasn't already the story of Shaun Deeb, it most definitely is now as he won his third 2012 SCOOP ring last night and fourth lifetime.

In what is quickly becoming one of the most legendary performances in online poker history, Deeb final-tabled both the low and high versions of Event 26, Stud Hi-Lo, last night.

He took eighth in the low event but crushed the high for another $40,330 and his third Stud title of the series.

Deeb now has eight final tables under his belt in the 2012 SCOOP along with 18 cashes for 645 points and a commanding 245-point lead in the Player of the Series race.

Winning his third title wasn’t exactly a walk in the park either as the 74-player field was as tough as it gets. Every player at the final table also had a SCOOP or WCOOP title to their credit and included PokerStars pro Eugene Katchalov.

Still, proving he’s developed a newfound mastery of Stud, Deeb outlasted them all for the win.

Deeb Final Tables Another but Lind Gets the Win

George Lind
Not a bad SCOOP either.

It was almost a low and high sweep for Deeb in Event 26 as he managed to fade a massive field of 2,178 players in the low-buy-in Stud event and earn his seventh final table this SCOOP.

This table belonged to PokerStars pro George “Jorj95” Lind, however, and he took his first SCOOP title and $9,352.58 for the win.

Also having a great SCOOP of his own with 16 cashes, Lind is now third on the overall SCOOP leaderboard with 345 points.

Joacowalter Channels Deeb, Wins His Second SCOOP Title

In any other SCOOP, the record of Uruguayan Joacowalter may have been the number one story.

Trailing just Deeb on the SCOOP Player of the Series leaderboard, joacowalter has had an impressive series of his own with a title and several cashes.

Justin Bonomo
Heater continues for Bonomo.

He joined the elite two-time winners club last night as he defeated a small but game field in Event 25-H, $1,050 Triple Draw 2-7.

Among the heavy-hitting pros at the final table with him were Mike “SirWatts” Watson, Justin Bonomo and Dylan "ImaLucSac" Linde.

Bonomo was fresh from a second-place finish this SCOOP and his recent destruction of the EPT Grand Final, but came up short in sixth.

Because of the small field and low buy-in, pay outs were small in comparison but joacowalter did take home $30k for the win.

He's now second on the 2012 SCOOP leaderboard with 400 points.

2012 SCOOP Event #25-H ($1,050 Triple Draw 2-7) Results:

1st place: joacowalter (Uruguay) $30,680.00
2nd place: vovtroy (Russia) $20,650.00
3rd place: ImaLucSac (Canada) $15,340.00
4th place: merla888 (Belgium) $10,030.00
5th place: SirWatts (Canada) $7,670.00
6th place: ZeeJustin (Canada) $5,310.00
