Freerolls
There are plenty of poker rooms with a larger player base, but none with better freeroll value.
Carbon Poker has a huge spread, ranging from $50 and $100 tourneys several times daily all the way up to a weekly $10k and $50,000 monthly freeroll.
The $50 and $100 freerolls are totally free, while the larger freerolls require loyalty points to enter. For the larger ones though the value is great, with quite small fields even in the largest tournaments.
Most freerolls are played in No-Limit Texas Hold'em, but some are also offered in Badugi or Draw Poker. For first-time depositors, Carbon Poker also offers exclusive freerolls that usually offer good value due to the small fields.

Tournaments
Carbon Poker offers a pretty wide variety of tournaments, with mostly low and medium buy-ins - the largest regular buy-in is $109.
Carbon Poker offers relatively few larger tournaments, probably because it's still building its player base. Carbon Poker does offer a monthly $20,000 guaranteed tournament that has become pretty popular and proves to be very good value.
A nice idea that might catch on with other sites: Carbon Poker offers ladies only tournaments every other day or so, usually in the $200-$400 guarantee range. Buy-ins are small ($1 or $2) and rebuys are also sometimes offered.
