Overall, the software is strong - particularly graphics-wise - and the stats functions are good, although the hand-history export is just an xml file and needs a special program to read it.

Carbon Poker has good functionality and a real richness of player information, with clean and crisp tables and a solid mini-view function.

Statistics

Stats functions allow for player notes and the lobby has viewed-flop percentage, average pot size and hands played per hour for each active table.

The Carbon Poker software also offers a nice graphic interface showing hand histories. The only real function missing is the option to export the hand history.

Multi-Table

The Carbon Poker software supports play at up to eight ring-game tables simultaneously, either as stand-alone windows or in mini-view.

The tables are relatively small and easy to understand, and the vector-based graphics are for the most part crisp and clear, making for a decent multi-table experience.

It is a bit hard though to read text and buttons clearly with four or more small tables scaled, even on a 22" monitor.

Overall though, design is simple and easy to understand, and runs smooth.

Graphics

Carbon Poker runs on Merge Gaming software. The colors are nice and crisp, and the functions are effective and easy to use.

The lobby is easy to navigate and all parts of the software are user-friendly, even for beginners.

The software also offers good customization options, allowing players to turn sound, graphics and message options on and off.

One nice thing about the graphics is they are vector based, meaning they don't blur when changing the size of a table.

The web interface for all player administrative tools (changing passwords, player icon etc.) is pretty smart, offering lots of good information and access to support, store, etc., in a web-based format instead of trying to cram it all in the software.

Special Features

Carbon Poker offers some unique functions, including a mini-view, a "rabbit hunt" feature allowing players to see the next card in the deck for a folded hand, and an "expose one card" function.

Players can also attach trophies to their avatar to show tournament wins.
