The king of swing is back.

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom returned last week and after losing several relatively minor sessions went on an absolute tear this past weekend.

Despite being MIA from the PokerStars high stakes games for three months, Blom has apparently not lost a step as he recorded 17,208 hands to win an astounding $1.4 million in three days.

After a small loss on Friday, Blom began his run on Saturday with a variety of $100/$200 Pot-Limit Omaha matches against Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond, Fake Love888, Jeans89 and Terken89 but no one felt the pain more than VietRussian.

In approximately six hours of play, Blom beat VietRussian out of $241k. Combined with his profits the rest of his profits from Saturday, Blom finished up $620k.

The Swede wasn’t finished, however, and on Sunday he returned to the high stakes tables. Once again he left a collection of smoking wreckage in his wake.

He started by destroying Brian “aba20” Townsend for $180k in heads-up $100/$200 PLO and then moved on to Fake Love888 (who is rumored to be Patrik Antonius).

After beating Fake Love888 for $113k he moved on to Galfond and beat him for $136k.

Isildur1 then took a short break but returned to play a huge session against VietRussian and Galfond.

By the time the smoke had cleared he had beat both players for half a million and finally called it quits for good.

In total Isildur1 took down $1.4 million, which is good enough to rank as one of the biggest weekends a player has ever recorded in the high stakes games on PokerStars.

Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond, on the other hand, was left reeling. The Maryland-native was the biggest loser of the weekend and lost a total of $495k.

Close behind Galfond, however, was VietRussian who dusted off $495k over the weekend.

Terryhsu (-$225k), wilhasha (-$224k) and Brian “aba20” Townsend (-$186k) rounded out the top five biggest losers over the weekend.

No one came anywhere close to matching Isildur1 this weekend but Kanu7 (+$238k), long90110 (+$141k), Vaga_Lion (+$129k) and Papartis88 (+$125k) all made the top five.

Isildur1 isn’t finished. He logged back on to PokerStars early this morning and fired up a series of $200/$400 PLO tables. After several thousand hands he was down more than $700k. At the time this article was published he was down to one last table of $200/$400 6-Max PLO against Jeans89, mTw-DaviN, refaelamit and Vaga_Lion. We could have one of the infamous Isildur1 meltdowns on our hands and we’ll have more on this story as it develops.
