Isildur1 Drops Out of Big Game
Unknown Swedish online cash game phenom Isildur1 will not be attending the PartyPoker Big Game as originally planned.
"I am afraid I am going to have to break the news that Isildur1 will not be coming to the PartyPoker.com Big Game IV at Les Ambassadeurs in London this weekend," said Team PartyPoker's Tony G.
"Eddie Hearn, the event organizer and Managing Director of Matchroom Sport, personally spoke to Isildur1 and his manager and confirmed this to be the case.
"To say I am disappointed is an understatement."
According to G, the two had personally agreed on a 50/50 staking deal before managers and agents got involved.
"It has left a bad taste in my mouth," he said. "What you have to understand is that he reached out to me first and asked and then agreed to play. As far as I am concerned I am washing my hands with him and moving on. On your bike!"
G claims he was going to fly Isildur1 and three of his friends to London for the April 11-13 cash game promising to raise the stakes in the game to accommodate the Swede.
However, Isildur1 now has some "personal issues" to attend too, including a driving test.
G now claims Isildur1 will be at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo later this month.

2010-05-14He was flat cheated by a top name pro who worked with several others in a collusive effort to beat him. This happened after Ilsidur1 had proven several times they could not do it individually and legally. So, it was Ilsidur vrs the Mob and the poker site did nothing about it.
A bunch of worthless apologies in the end but the stolen cash stayed with the thieves and the website allows the gang to continue robbing others even today.
Research your facts. Better yet, if you simply keep your mouth and pen shut then no one will know how ignorant you really are.

2010-04-12I don't think Viktor isn't playing because of monetary concern. He has already run 2k to 1.4 million on the ipoker network in a few weeks. If he is offered a 50/50 staking deal, he would definitely take it. He has an edge over most of the players at this game anyways. Seems like he has personal issues he needs to attend to.

2010-04-10Isuldur1 is broke and doesn't want to lose what little he has. The way he plays there's no way he can win. One on one he's a maniac and can bully his opponent but with a full table he's doomed. His legacy will go down as a player who's ego was bigger than his bankroll.
