The Festival Online- Brazil On Top With 13 Event Wins!
The Festival Online, powered by 888poker and PokerListings, offered an extraordinary real money poker event that began on the 16th of July. With an impressive $888,888 in guaranteed prize pools across 53 unique tournaments, it became a sought-after destination for online poker enthusiasts worldwide. The series attracted a diverse mix of skilled and recreational players, all competing for fame, big prizes, and trophies. Throughout the event, some players even demonstrated their poker prowess by excelling in multiple tournaments, creating unforgettable stories along the way. It has to be said that The Festival Series once again delivered to the people, resulting in 1000s of entrants throughout the past two weeks.
The opening events set the stage for an exciting festival, featuring buy-ins ranging from as low as $22 up to $525. A highlight was the $109 event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000, which saw 'ZeiKo' from Lithuania emerge as the triumphant winner, claiming a generous real money payout of nearly $15,000. The High Roller edition of the Opening event, with a $525 buy-in, showcased 'altavistt' from Belarus, who delivered an exceptional performance and earned a well-deserved real money reward of $8,400.
The excitement continued over the next two weeks, with an average of three real money poker tournaments scheduled daily. Players eagerly took part in the $160 Progressive Knock-Out event, offering multiple starting flights, alongside the aforementioned $109 opening event, High Roller poker tournaments, and the highly anticipated Main Event with a guaranteed real money prize pool of $200,000.
Multi-Day Progressive Knock Out
Among the most sought-after tournament formats was the PKO Multiple-Day Event, boasting a $150,000 real money guarantee and a $160 buy-in. Progressive Knock Out events have always been immensely popular, and this one was no exception. After a display of skill and a challenging heads-up battle, 'ShashOs21' from Cyprus emerged as the victorious real money champion, claiming an impressive reward of over $32,000, an astounding 200x return on the initial buy-in. The dynamic nature of knock-out tournaments, particularly progressive knock-outs, added to the excitement as players adapted their strategies, and bounty hunters displayed a heightened sense of determination.

888poker Ambassador and Twitch-Streamer Ian ‘Simpioni’ Simpson Wins Event #11
In the first week of the event, one of the nicest stories of the whole event took place in event #11, which was the $320 Super KO tournament. Ian Simpson, an 888poker Ambassador and fellow Twitch streamer made it happen to qualify himself for this event through one of the many satellites running throughout the entire series. Not only did he qualify, he eventually came out on top of the whole event, winning it for $4,695 in total!
Event #26 Became a Prey for ‘Legitnit’ from Canada
This event, with a $22 buy-in, was one of the many Mystery Bounty events on the schedule of The Festival Online. The highly popular knock-out variant delivered to its potential and eventually ‘Legitnit’ from Canada would take down the event for $2,449.83.
You can say that is already an impressive score of course, but imagine if you are also part of Day 3 of The Festival Online Main Event. He made it happen and started the Final Table as number 6 in chips. We will come back to the Main Event results in another article.
Brazilian Star ‘vireadulta7’ Wins Two Consecutive Events in a Row!
The Brazilian player would have had the run of his life, winning the Mystery Bounty Finale High Roller and the Afterparty HR Mini, good for a total of $17,670! Amazing performance and for sure these kind of moments are to cherish as they are rare in the poker world, to win two events in a row. In that second event, nothing less than ‘SlayerV1Fan’ became the runner-up. The well-known hyper SNG crusher, who is also a Twitch streamer, just came in short and couldn’t stop the uprising of ‘vireadulta7’.
