Mikita Badziakouski is a well-known High Stakes regular who made his name at first in the online circuit. From the age of 18 he was directly a regular in the fields on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker with his aliases ‘fish2013’ and ‘HelicopterBen82’. The first 3 years of his career, he mainly played online poker but also managed to pull of some stunts in the live circuit in Ukraine. Nevertheless, online poker was his destiny and made an extraordinary profit throughout the years. At the age of 21, he entered the live circuit, and until the day of today he is a respected and challenging opponent for every single high roller out there.

Messias of Poker

Mikita started off online as a cash game player and soon made his way up to the higher stakes. Unfortunately, there are not many results to be found of that, but from what we can find he became 2nd in the Sunday Million in 2012 for $164,429 and chopping the $51,000 costing WCOOP High Roller event 3-way for a nice $594,069 payday. That he couldn’t join the poker circuit overseas, didn’t mean he couldn’t play live anywhere.

In Ukraine he made his first steps in the live poker circuit and roughly one year late he managed to pull off a great 2nd place in a $1,100 buy-in tournament, collecting $66,800 for his efforts. Unfortunately for him, the following years weren’t that much decent for him as he barely cashed anything until 2015, but Mikita had an amazing surprise for everyone..

In 2015, after barely putting in any big live cashes, he entered the High-Roller scene in Monte Carlo during the European Poker Tour. That being said, he must have had an amazing online streak to pull this one off.  Starting off the biggest tournaments he managed to get several min-cashes, but it would not take long before he was battling until the end of the tournaments. In October 2016 he became 2nd in the $100,000 High-Roller for a payday of $550,412. Within the same year he managed to win several tournaments such as High-Rollers at the PokerStars Championships, the Macau Challenge, and Aussie Millions. At the end of 2017 he finished 3rd in the High Roller for One Drop for a prize of $1,772,822 and he finished 2nd in the PokerStars Championship (EPT) for $451,007.

Short Deck Poker King

Mikita was hot in 2017 and became even more dominant in 2018 where he started off winning the Triton Poker High Roller for $2,499,184 and the EPT High Roller for $1,912,903. He is an extraordinary player and playing literally every high event the world. We will list his high scores below as well. In 2018 he got his biggest ever win, collecting $5,257,027.

2018 was really Mikita’s year, but when you ask him where he got the title ‘Short Deck Poker King’ of… Its from 2019. Short Deck poker was introduced a year or two before, but the real big tournaments started to be known and televised since 2019, exactly the year where Mikita took the hot seat during the Triton Poker Series in Montenegro. He managed to show the world once again why he is Mr Short Deck in 2022, where he won the partypoker Short Deck event in Cyprus. Both, for astonishing amounts.

In the last 3 years, during the Corona Pandemic period, Mikita managed to keep on winning events and besting top player fields everywhere he goes. His amazing results are bringing him right in the top 10 all-time players in the world.
