Fortune Wheel Spin to Win

Fortunately for those poker fans out there whose organisational skills are not the best, here at PokerListings we’ve got you covered. One of the too-good-to-miss promotions in real money online poker at the moment is Moneymaker 2.0 at Americas Cardroom which, as the name suggests, gives you the chance to follow in the footsteps of the WSOP legend and ACR Team Pro, Chris Moneymaker.

The promo runs until 28 May, so there’s still time to throw your hat (or, to best fit the stereotype, your baseball cap) in the ring and fight for both a six-figure sum and a $15,000 trip to Vegas for your chance of glory. The beauty of online poker tournaments is that everyone is in contention, so what are you waiting for? Simply dive in to the special $86 buy-in weekly tournaments and rack up Leaderboard points, with the $1 Million guaranteed promotion reaching a crescendo on 4-5 June with the Final Tournament, when the winner will bag at least $150,000 plus a $15,000 trip to Sin City

Remember that ACR is committed to giving all players these fantastic opportunities, whatever their bankroll, so you can make the most of player-friendly satellites for the weekly specials, with buy-ins starting at just $4.40!

$40 Million Online Super Series

Meanwhile, another great event at ACR is the $40 Million Online Super Series (OSS), whose full-to-the-brim, action-packed schedule remains juiced up, with many events still to be enjoyed before this exciting series draws to a close on 29 May.

A few results from Sunday’s action highlight what’s in store for players during the rest of this 275-event poker marathon.

$250,000 GTD Euro Special – OSS #83

The 1,593 entries in this $215 buy-in event generated a total prize pool of $318,600, with 180 paid places. Big money for the eventual top three:

1) Xtremist – $53,365
2) SocialSlug – $39,442
3) Sir Grindalot – $29,948

$300,000 GTD – OSS #87

For many poker fans there tends to be an interest in sport and (not surprisingly, given the nature of poker) sports betting. It follows, then, that any self-respecting poker operator trying to maintain a presence in the dog-eat-dog world of real money online poker should include a sports betting platform as part of their overall offering.

At partypoker you can make the most of a host of sports betting options, and thanks to their latest promotion, it’s now possible to combine the two, with partypoker and partysports teaming up to bring you the Thursday Night Sports Tournament – and taking part is a no-brainer.

Everyone Has a Sporting Chance

Every Thursday at partypoker you can take part in this exclusive Freeroll tournament, which boasts a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool. And getting a ticket couldn’t be easier.

Simply placing a $5 bet on ANY sport (with minimum odds of 2.0) is enough to earn a spot in the tournament and compete against other sports fans for the poker booty. And with this being a weekly fixture, you’ll get the chance to keep testing your sports betting knowledge while also having a regular opportunity to hone your poker skills and boost your bankroll.

Whether you’re an online poker tournament afficionado, newcomer or you usually play at the Texas Hold’em or Omaha cash tables or in Sit & Go games, it’s well worth adding the Thursday Night Sports Tournamentto your diary.

Diversity is perhaps more important in real money online poker than most other sectors, and PokerStars – despite being an industry veteran – continues to show how to run an online poker business by both spreading the poker word and regularly seeking to maintain the quality of its offering.

PokerStars’ association with sport is well established and, in Canada, where poker is enjoying increasing popularity thanks in no small part to this veritable juggernaut, the connection between poker and sport is a healthy one.

Recently, for example, when the Toronto Maple Leafs reached the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since 2004, PokerStars was there joining in the celebrations, once again highlighting the mutually beneficial connection.

Indeed, in the middle of Maple Leaf Square, PokerStars players and Maple Leafs fans came together, with Rebecca McAdam Willetts, PokerStars Director of Partnerships & PR, summing up the atmosphere perfectly: “PokerStars has given its players and Maple Leafs fans more reasons to get excited during the Leafs playoff run, with tickets, jerseys and other prizes given away at our activation tent in Maple Leaf Square…”

Four-player All-In Shootouts saw fans playing one hand of poker, automatically all-in, with the winner entered into a ticket draw for the next playoff home game, plus a spin of a prize wheel for a chance at the daily jackpot. McAdam: “They were the perfect combination for mixing poker with playoff hockey! We’re looking forward to being part of another incredible season.”

Playing poker is, of course, great fun, and when we step into the world of real money online poker we’re guaranteed to be entertained. But what about winning? Exactly – everyone wants to win! Here’s your chance to be the first WPT Prime Online Champion by getting involved in the upcoming WPT Global Spring Festival, which runs from 21 May until 4 June.

Throughout the Spring Festival there’ll be something for everyone so that, regardless of your bankroll, events are accessible to all. Indeed, with buy-ins ranging from as little as $1.10 and going right up to $2,500 for High Rollers, plus a great mix of No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha as well as Short Deck events,  including 6-max, Turbos, Bounty tournaments and much more (see below).

Amongst a packed 84-event schedule, the feast of online poker tournaments features the WPT Prime $1,060 Championship which kicks off on 28 May and, with 10 different starting flights, continues until 4 June. There’s even a Last Chance Turbo to dive into before the Day 2 Final. And the booty? As well as the glory, there’s a whopping $200,000 in guaranteed prize money to play for!

Meanwhile, in homage to the WPT500 tournaments at the Aria in Las Vegas, this popular operator which was launched last year as the online poker platform of the mighty World Poker Tour (WPT) is putting a nice touch to their Spring Festival, with the opening weekend giving everyone the opportunity to win an online WPT500 title in the $100,000 GTD, $530 buy-in event.

Both the WPT Prime and WPT500 will have mini versions, with buy-ins of $110 and $55 respectively. The Mini Prime has a $100,000 Guarantee… Note that, as usual at WPT Global, you can win seats at bargain prices for this and other higher buy-in events via a comprehensive qualifying set-up.

Finally, to satisfy what has become a seemingly insatiable thirst these days, you can look forward to 26(!) Progressive Knockout Bounty (PKO) events as well as 14 standard bounty tournaments during the series.

For speed merchants, the Hyper Turbos will have levels as fast as 3-minutes, while each higher buy-in event has a smaller Mini buy-in version of the same tournament ($110 and $11 tournaments, for example).

In our previous tournament held in Nottingham, we witnessed an outstanding performance by Colin Lovelock from the UK, who emerged as the winner. Now, in Malta, Colin is aiming to achieve back-to-back victories and claim the esteemed title of the PokerListings Champion. His journey has begun on a high note, as he amassed an impressive chip count of 662,000 on the first starting day.

As we progress to Day 2, with 53 players remaining, all of whom have secured a payout, Colin currently holds the top position. However, it is worth noting that the top 5 rankings are dominated by Swedish players, which comes as no surprise considering the substantial representation of Swedish participants in this event. Nevertheless, these Swedish contenders are determined to break their streak and secure a championship title in the thrilling game of No-Limit Hold’em

There’s more to real money online poker than grinding away for hours at the Texas Hold’em and/or Omaha cash tables for a few Big Blinds per hour profit (which, of course, can be very satisfying on more than one level!), or battling it out in Sit & Go games and online poker tournaments …

Not only have PokerStars recognized this, but they’ve also taken into account that some poker fans (especially the younger generation) often turn to gaming to seek entertainment in their downtime – particularly virtual reality (VR) games.

Their proverbial finger placed firmly on the pulse, the global leaders are taking their excellent VR offering to the next level, with PokerStars VR now going live on Sony’s next generation virtual reality hardware, PlayStation®VR2.

As well as cementing the PokerStars brand still further by joining the ranks of blockbuster titles on Sony’s celebrated virtual reality platforms, this latest venture means that poker players (and a brand-new audience of VR players yet to discover the delights of the game) can now experience the wonders of VR poker – and the casino floor – in a variety of amazing environments. Play cash games and Spin & Go games, for example, and interact with all sorts of props and accessories.

The magic of PokerStars VR on PlayStation®VR2

The experience needs to be seen to be believed, suffice to say that you can handle your chips and cards just like in live games, for instance. It’s also possible, thanks to a real-time face and eye tracking facility, to study opponents’ tells(!), chatting live further adding to the community experience. Live headset haptic feedback, meanwhile, brings a whole new VR dimension to going all-in. To paraphrase Star Trek: It’s poker, Jim, but not as we know it…

James O’Reilly, PokerStars Director of VR & Innovation, had this to say about the latest PokerStars milestone: “Our Sony debut introduces PokerStars VR to a brand-new audience … the PlayStation VR2 hardware is astonishing” … “I’m looking forward to welcoming PlayStation VR2 fans to our community over a few hands of poker, and to unveiling more to come from our game.”

You can download PokerStars VR free from the PlayStation Store, and it’s free to play, with free chips awarded every eight hours and free creds used to buy interactive accessories and apparel in-game.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

It’s not a coincidence that a theme running through our poker news and articles at PokerListings is how the world of real money online poker manages to tick along so nicely. This is achieved because a number of operators keep striving to come up with the best possible offering – both to appeal to potential new converts in a world that provides so much entertainment, and to retain the interest of existing players.

Nor is it by accident that Juicy Stakes Poker continues to attract praise for an admirable approach that sees this progressive online poker room constantly moving forwards. And this is with all players in mind, and with no bias towards a specific group or game – each of Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games, Sit & Go poker and online poker tournaments is monitored and tweaked accordingly.

The latest focus at Juicy Stakes Poker is on Table Design across the poker platform.

Poker Tables 2.0

The visual aspect of online poker is, of course, a vital one. If the display isn’t easy on the eye, informative when necessary and helpful in terms of decision-making, then the overall experience can suffer to the point that players might simply take their custom to another poker room. The ideal scenario is to achieve an environment that makes for a simultaneously smooth and entertaining ride.

Here’s a breakdown of the changes and improvements that players at Juicy Stakes Poker can look forward to:

Centric Player Table Seat

The Player Table Seat feature is aimed at ensuring that, whichever seat you choose, the table itself will rotate to keep you literally in the centre of the action. Find seating settings in the Poker Client under OptionsGameSeating

New Avatars

Just because online poker is essentially anonymous, it doesn’t mean you can’t express yourself, and this can be done in style at Juicy Stakes Poker thanks to a new, freshly designed set of avatars that let you assume various personalities at the tables. In the Poker Client, go to OptionsGameAvatar.

Juicy Stakes Poker New Avatars

Hand Strength

Even seasoned grinders appreciate maximum clarity, never mind newcomers and less experienced recreational players, so to make it easier for everyone, Juicy Stakes’ improved hand strength feature is now being prominently placed in the middle of the table. This is good news indeed as poker can be complicated enough, hand after hand, so it’s very useful to be able to comfortably assess your hand strength in order to get on with the more taxing elements of the game. You can toggle the feature on/off in the Poker Client under OptionsGraphics

New Winning Hand Display

Winning isn’t everything, but it’s still something to celebrate, nevertheless! With this in mind, Juicy Stakes Poker are introducing a more eye-catching winning hand display that brings a bit of fun and excitement every time you win a hand.

New Layout for the Action Button Area

The action/pre-action buttons have been given a great makeover, complete with a fresh design and a new layout. Fold, Call, Check, Raise (and more) are now easier to access thanks to a new and improved betting slider.

Play Same Table Type & Buy/Add Chips Buttons

Convenience is a key factor (and major selling point) in online poker. Thusly, in the top right corner of the tables in the Poker Client you’ll find the Play Same Table Type and Buy/Add Chips buttons. You can now seamlessly continue playing at the same table, or effortlessly refill your chip stack.

New Timing Indicator

An improved, more visible timer means you can keep in sync with the pace of the game and not find yourself missing out at what can be crucial moments – it’s one thing making mistakes or playing badly, but quite another coming up with perfect, inspired poker thinking but being beaten by Father Time…

New Rebuy and Add-on Button Placement

Don’t miss out on vital options! Juicy’s Tournament Rebuy/Add-on buttons are being moved to a more prominent, eye-catching placement so that it’s easier to make the most of these opportunities in the limited time allowed.

Improved Bounty Area

With Bounty Tournaments all the range nowadays, players need to adjust and be fully aware of the state of play in terms of the bounties on rivals’ heads. It’s important to know what rewards can be had for eliminating this or that player, and this is now much easier at Juicy Stakes Poker due to the enhanced visibility of players’ bounties.

Change Table Style in Options

Tastes differ from player to player, so while the new table design is the new default setting, it’s not a problem if you prefer a different look, as you can simply head to OptionsThemesSelect Theme to choose your preferred table style.

Juicy Stakes Poker Table Options

Change Felt/Carpet

Just like in your lounge (in real life…), you can also set the mood for the virtual poker environment you’ll be sitting in by changing the felt and/or carpet design, which is done either by clicking on the View button or right-clicking on the table for a choice of options.

So, there you go. Not only is Juicy Stakes Poker undergoing a host of new developments, additions and improvements across the overall offering, but there’s even a shiny new look to the Table features!

Meanwhile, as far as your day-to-day poker sessions are concerned, you can find the latest online poker bonuses and offers in our regularly updated info section.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

The PokerListings Championship event at The Festival Series in Malta entered its second starting day with great anticipation. The Portomaso Casino was abuzz with activity, hosting a variety of tournaments, but the spotlight was firmly on the prestigious PokerListings Championship. All eyes were eager to see who would emerge as the successor to Colin Lovelock, the reigning champion from the previous event held in Nottingham

Day 1a had seen 89 entries, and by the end of the day, only 13 players managed to survive the intense competition. Day 1b was expected to draw an even larger crowd, and it certainly lived up to that promise. Excitement filled the air as more players joined the tournament, adding to the already electrifying atmosphere.

As the cards were dealt and the chips shuffled, the players battled it out with determination and skill. With the prestige of becoming the next PokerListings Championship titleholder on the line, every hand carried significant weight.

The stage was set for a memorable showdown as the participants vied for their spot in poker history. The Festival Series in Malta was shaping up to be an exhilarating journey filled with low- mid- and high-stakes action and unforgettable moments.

Day 1b off to a good start

The second starting day of The Festival Series commenced at 16:00 local time with a significant number of players already pre-registered. With numerous package holders and passionate poker enthusiasts arriving in Malta the day before, it was anticipated to be a bustling event, and it certainly lived up to expectations with a total of 126 entries.

Following the impressive performance of the Swedes on Day 1a, securing the top three spots, they continued to dominate on Day 1b, as many of them successfully advanced to the second day. The local Maltese players also joined in full force, adding to the electric atmosphere and promising an exciting showdown.

Among the participants were Noelia Ivars, Bjorne Lindberg, Leif Iversen, Bart Kuiper, Gerianne Dijkstra, Jacob Matthews, Andrea Stellato, Carlo Solazzo, Ylva Thorsrud, and Raphael Toledo. While some of them, unfortunately, bowed out before the day’s conclusion, the mentioned Swedish players showcased their tenacity and resilience, persevering like true Vikings.

The stage is now set for the following days of the PokerListings Championship, with the remaining players eagerly looking forward to testing their skills and luck in this highly anticipated poker event.

Important information:

Players who will resume playing on Day 2, will be starting with blinds 2k/4k and an ante of 4k. Remember, all players who reach Day 2, will already be in the money.

PokerListings Championship 2023 Day 1b Vibes

Photo credits – The Festival Series

The greatest and most influential poker player of all time, Doyle Brunson, has passed away at 89 years old, according to a family statement on Sunday night.

Doyle Brunson was a central figure in poker ever since he won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 1976 for $230,000. He would win the Main Event in 1974, putting him in rarefied air with three other people who won back-to-back Main Events. He would win these with the ten-deuce off-suit, dubbing the hand the ‘Doyle Brunson’ or ‘Texas Dolly.’

Doyle would win ten WSOP bracelets, ranging from Main Events and Seven-Card Stud events to HORSE and Short Handed No-Limit Hold’em. Doyle was a complete poker player in every sense, an art slowly being eroded in the hyper No-Limit Hold’em-focused era we live in today.

Whether it was his creating a strategy that would put him lightyears ahead of any competition in backroom Texas poker cash games or his dedication to tournaments that saw him glide to 1st place finishes, Doyle was a poker trailblazer. He would be one of the first people to create a holistic strategy to poker and allow the masses to learn from his book Super Systems, again paving the way for what we see today with Upswing Poker, Run It Once and other poker coaching platforms.

The poker world we see today was forged in large parts by the hands of Doyle Brunson. The Vegas Strip and the cardrooms that occupy it is the house that Doyle built. The game will forever be short-handed without Texas Dolly, a poker seat unfilled by someone we should all be indebted to.

Lone Star Beginnings and Las Vegas Ventures

An unfortunate knee injury would cut a promising NBA career short for Doyle, but a chanced-upon poker game during the start of his sales career would see him win a salary in just a few hours, and he would never look back.

He would seek out more poker games across Texas, pairing up with legendary poker figure Thomas “Amarillo Slim” Preston and others to seek out the best games in the state. This would incur much danger, primarily due to the illegal nature of poker at the time and the gun-friendly nature of the Lone Star poker players.

To find a safer venue for poker, Doyle sought out the bright lights of Las Vegas, which allowed him to play poker in a legal setting and not risk someone pulling a gun out every time they had a bad beat. Texas Dolly would never look back, winning the WSOP Main Event in 1976 and 1977. This would start a run to see him capture ten bracelets, putting him in tied-second behind Phil Hellmuth’s 16.

Becoming the Face of Poker and the Perfect Ambassador

After his last bracelet in 2005, Doyle would wind his tournament schedule down, citing the long hours required as the reason. He would still be a frequent face in the halls of the Rio, becoming a must-see for poker fans who traveled far and wide to get a glance at the godfather of poker.

No matter what was happening around him, Doyle always had time for people to shake his hand, ask questions, and get autographs. His dry sense of humor was something that would be authentic and brilliant, whether you saw it on his multiple appearances on High Stakes Poker or heard his Texas drawl in passing as he traveled to a mixed game bracelet event.

His dedication and love for poker were unmatched, as he was still firing WSOP events in 2021, playing in the Super Seniors and Main Events. Even as late as 2022, he was one of the faces of WPT and was playing in a televised high-stakes cash game with popular vloggers Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, as well as high-stakes legend Phil Ivey. No matter what the occasion, Doyle always stepped up to the plate, creating a better poker world and community.

Your Inspiration’s Biggest Inspiration

It speaks volumes when the game’s biggest stars come out one after another and pay homage to Brunson. He was your hero’s hero and will leave an immeasurable impact on poker. Whether it was helping it through the rocky early years of legalization and bad press to the later years of overcoming scandals and frauds, Doyle was the one mainstay of class and decency in a game that sometimes sorely needed it.

Doyle Brunson will now leave a vacuum in the poker world. His lack of presence at the WSOP will be felt, as will the loss of his calmness and measure in the world of poker. He leaves shoes that will not and cannot be filled, as the game of poker reflects on the passing of its greatest-ever player.

The entire team at PokerListings would like to pass on our thoughts and condolences to the Brunson family, friends, and close ones of Doyle Brunson, the most influential and greatest poker player.

The PokerListings Championship has once again taken centre stage at The Festival Series in Malta, with Day 1A kicking off on May 14th. Over the next few days, two more starting days will take place, with Day 1B scheduled for Monday and Day 1C for Tuesday. As players take to the felt, everyone is eager to secure their place for the final day, where they will already be guaranteed a payout.

The first starting day saw a remarkable number of entries, exceeding expectations and promising an exciting and action-packed event in the coming days. With such a strong start, anticipation is high for what’s to come, and players are no doubt eager to showcase their skills and compete for the title. All in all, it’s shaping up to be a memorable tournament filled with epic moments and fierce competition.

PokerListings Championship

The poker tables at Portomaso Casino, the largest casino in beautiful Malta, have already welcomed many familiar faces during the ongoing PokerListings Championship. Among them is Colin Lovelock, who is looking to defend his title after winning the previous edition of the PokerListings Championship in Nottingham earlier this year. Lovelock walked away with a handsome payout of £5,020, an impressive return on his buy-in of just £120.

While Festival Series founder Martin ‘Franke’ von Zweigbergk, Christel Haller, Totti Lind, Vallo Maidla, and Oskar Ojaveer were all in attendance, they didn’t make it to the bagging and tagging stage. However, some notable players did progress to the next stage of the tournament. The list of remaining players after Day 1A can be found below, and anticipation is high for what the remaining days of the championship will bring.

Starting on June 1st, the premiere poker broadcaster in the world, PokerGO, will be offering near wall-to-wall coverage of the World Series of Poker 2023 from Las Vegas.

The biggest poker party of the year is on the horizon with just days remaining until the big games get going at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Players from around the world are making plans to hit the Las Vegas strip for seven weeks of the biggest poker action in the world, but for poker fans stuck at home during the series, PokerGO is coming to the rescue.

Practically every day from the start of the WSOP to the end PokerGO will be offering near-daily coverage of big tournament events from the series. There are only three dark days in the whole series, and several days where viewers will have two different games to watch.

The PokerGO action gets going on June 1st with coverage of the exclusive Tournament of Champions. This invitational event is only open to players who have won a bracelet or a Circuit ring during the 2022/23 WSOP season.

The $1 million freeroll is a nice incentive on top of the prize money and hardware last season’s winners received, and the final days of the game will be the first event on PokerGo’s summer schedule.

All the Big Games on PokerGO

There will be coverage of big events from the WSOP in Las Vegas nearly every day starting on June 1. June 15, July 5, and July 15 are the only days during the summer when there won’t be poker action running on PokerGO, so fans who are stuck at home for the series will still be able to catch large chunks of the action.

There are seven days with two different events on the schedule, and the multiple event days get going right from the start. The opening day of coverage, June 1, will feature Day 2 of the Tournament of Champions as well as the $25k No-Limit High Roller 6-Handed.

In fact, all of the multiple coverage days happen by June 20, with the rest of the days limited to one event.

PokerListings Promo Code

Make sure to use the promo code ‘pokerlistings‘ when you purchase an annual subscription – you have a chance to win back your expense.

Promotion starts 15th of May and ends 15th of June.

Highlights to Watch for During the PokerGO Summer Schedule

There are a lot of big events planned this summer at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and PokerGO will be covering the majority of them. The highlights kick off right from the start on June 1 with coverage of the exclusive $1 million Tournament of Champions freeroll.

That game is only open to players who won a Circuit ring or a bracelet during the 2022/23 WSOP season and so the limited field will mean it’s a great shot for champions to get some extra free money to start their Vegas trip properly.

The 7 weeks of coverage will also be heavy on the $10k Championship events, with the Heads-Up Championship kicking off the $10k coverage on June 4. That kicks off 16 days of Championship coverage including three days of the Poker Players Championship, widely considered one of the toughest game in poker.

When we think about diving into the fun-filled world of real money online poker for a new poker session, we might take a few factors into consideration. For the particularly serious players, depending on which (or more) of Texas Hold’em or Omaha cash games, various Sit & Go games or online poker tournaments you prefer, you might investigate everything you can about your favourite.

In the case of Juicy Stakes Poker the catchy name itself is already an instant attention-grabber, but this forward-thinking, progressive online poker room continues to impress, and is having no problems building up – and adding to – an impressive poker offering that is succeeding in appealing to everyone from recreational players to stoney-faced grinders.

Another New Feature at Juicy Stakes Poker

The latest new feature that all players would do well to take advantage of is the facility to see your chip count in Big Blinds (BB) as you’re playing. This might not immediately seem important to some players, especially newcomers, but it is in fact a very useful aid indeed, and will prove increasingly helpful the more you incorporate actual numerical calculations into your game.

Number-Crunching or Intuition?

As our opponents educate themselves more and the games become a little tougher, it’s important that we try to make more mathematically sound decisions. If your sphere of poker learning and inspiration comes mainly from far-fetched and totally unrealistic depictions of poker in movies, where the hero demonstrates fearlessness and magical people-reading skills worthy of a superhero, then feel free to try the Old School ‘intuition’ approach if you prefer…

But this was practiced during the good old days of live poker and is anyway quite unsuited to the online version, so it’s probably best you get used to properly exploiting your position, your opponents’ chip count, the tournament situation and loads of other factors that require proper calculation. This task – in the limited time you have in which to make decisions – is made much easier by seeing your chip count in BB, and Juicy Stakes Poker’s new feature enhances your poker experience accordingly.

Note that the facility is not just available for tournament players – if grinding away at cash tables is your thing, or you hunt down Sit & Go jackpots, then you can see your chip stack as BBs in all game types at Juicy Stakes. Simply click anywhere on your nameplate, avatar or cards and it’s done! Alternatively, you can tweak your settings to enable/disable the Show as Big Blinds feature by clicking on Options, heading to the Graphics tab and ticking/unticking Show chips as big blinds for tournaments/cash games option(s).

Finally, our goal at PokerListings is to help our community maximise their options (and boost their bankroll!), so check out the best online poker bonuses and offers in our regularly updated info section.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

With so much happening in real money online poker – and so much money swimming around – you could be forgiven for not yet getting involved in Americas Cardroom’s $40 Million Online Super Series (OSS). But don’t worry about missing out, as this is a marathon 275-tournament series that continues right up until 29 May.

It’s a dream event for online poker tournament fans, with a something for everyone, including Bounty Tournaments (of course) for those of you who like the idea of winning money without having to go as deep as the main prizes…

Now that the schedule is complete and good to go, we can bring you the info you’ll need to plan your poker sessions for the coming couple of weeks. Don’t forget that if the level of some of the buy-ins seems a little high for many bankrolls, you can take advantage of ACR’s player-friendly policy that sees them laying on affordable qualifiers for big money tournaments.

With that in mind, take a look at the mouthwatering list of what’s in store during the latest instalment of the Online Super Series.

Meanwhile, just as poker players strive to have an edge over their rivals, the same goes for online poker operators. Americas Cardroom gave themselves such an advantage by teaming up with Tournament Poker Edge (TPE) to offer their players something extra in the form of a connection with the world’s longest-running poker strategy podcast.

In fact, this was a natural collaboration (described by ACR as “a marriage made in poker strategy heaven”), given that the CEO of TPE is the long-time and current ACR Stormer Derek Tenbusch (KILL1NGB1RD). All TPE home games will be held on ACR…

Finally, at PokerListings we continue to do our bit for the community by putting together a collection of the latest online poker bonuses and offers in our regularly updated info section.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

The world of online poker has seen massive growth over the past ten years or so. This has seen operators continuously looking for ways to enhance player experience and gain a competitive edge over their competitors.

One example of this could be the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, particularly chatbots such as ChatGPT. ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot and a cutting-edge tool that can be used by online poker operators and online poker software designers such as EvenBet to revolutionise how they engage with their customers.

Enhance Customer Support

EvenBet believe that one of the primary uses of ChatGPT in online poker will be to streamline customer support. By using ChatGPT as a support chatbot, operators can reduce response time by replying instantly to queries. This will significantly reduce waiting times for players seeking assistance, a crucial element of maintaining a positive user experience.

ChatGPT can also provide round the clock support, ensuring that players have access to the support they need whenever they need it. Crucially, especially with EvenBet’s growing presence in Latin America, bots will be able to understand and communicate in multiple languages. ChatGPT can cater for a diverse user base making it an invaluable asset for global online poker operators.

From a cost-effective perspective, chatbots can help with operational costs too. By automating most customer service requests, operators will be able to save on human resources and reallocate their budget to other areas of their business.

Personalise the Gaming Experience

As well as offering fantastic customer support options, there are other ways that ChatGPT can benefit online poker operators say EvenBet. ChatGPT can also be used to improve the gaming experience by providing advice, suggestions and tips to players.

Online poker operators can employ ChatGPT to offer game recommendations based on a player’s preference or skill level. Gaming history too can be a factor that the bot can analyse to recommend suitable games or tournaments that cater to each player individually based on their tastes.

What about gameplay tips? Well, yes, according to EvenBet, by analysing in-game player decisions ChatGPT is able to provide personalised tips and strategies to help players improve their skills and enhance their overall online poker experience.

For newcomers to poker, ChatGPT can also generate and provide adaptive tutorials that adjust to a player’s progress, improvement and learning speed to make sure that they grasp the game’s fundamentals before progressing to more advanced concepts, theories and strategies.

Revolutionise Marketing and Customer Retention

Online poker providers can also utilise the power of ChatGPT in order to fine tune their marketing strategies and boost their customer retention efforts. Some of the key areas of where it could be used include offering unique, personalised promotions by analysing player preferences and gaming habits.

By studying player history, ChatGPT can help operators create targeted promotions and bonuses that resonate with players which will drive engagement and breed customer loyalty.

ChatGPT can also help to craft personalised email campaigns tailored to specific users which will help to improve open and click through rates as well as the return on investment for marketing efforts.

According to EvenBet, online poker providers can utilise ChatGPT to automate and manage their social media accounts, post relevant content and engage with followers in a natural, human-like way. This will expand their digital presence and attract new players to their online poker room.

Used by almost 100 operators in 40 countries, EvenBet Poker is an omni-channel gaming platform with more than 35 poker variations and all popular tournament types on board.

While it’s fair to say that the phrase “It’s the taking part that counts” – often used by those seeking solace in their having failed to win – isn’t really applicable to poker, the notion that poker fans crave glory as much as money is absolutely true. Admittedly, recognition tends to come as a by-product of a level of success sufficient to bring significant financial reward, but it would be doing poker players an injustice to automatically assume – due to the fact that the fundamental aim of the game is to win other peoples’ money – that it’s all about cash.

Seeking a sense of achievement is something that resonates with all poker players, from beginner to serious grinder. Moreover, this is anyway a healthy attitude with which to approach the game, as effort and the improvement it ultimately brings will in turn boost any player’s bankroll.

It’s the Winning That Counts…

When 39-year-old canadian poker player Mike Watson managed to finish at the top of the pile as the dust had finally settled in the recent PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Main Event in Monte Carlo, however exhilarating the sensation must have been, it wasn’t a new one for the poker pro who hails from Toronto, Canada.

Being rewarded with €749,425 for their efforts would of course bring a smile to anyone’s face, but winning the 1,098-entry tournament, which generated a whopping €5,325,300 prize pool that befits such a prestigious event, was an extra-special achievement, as this was Watson’s second EPT title!

A Very Rare Poker Double

Watson had first tasted EPT glory back in 2016 when he walked away with the Tour’s PokerStars Caribbean Adventure title in 2016. This is a feat so rare that it had been achieved only twice before the Canadian managed to repeat history. The first ever player to accomplish this amazing double was the British writer, broadcaster and popular TV personality Vicky Coren Mitchell – whose husband, David Mitchell, starred in (amongst many others) the hit TV comedy, Peepshow. After bagging EPT London 2006 Coren struck again with victory at EPT San Remo in 2014.

The second player (and first male) to win a brace of EPT titles was Mikalai Pobal of Belarus, who followed up his maiden EPT win in Barcelona in 2012 with a repeat success seven years later in Prague.

Watson’s Winning Habit

Winning two EPT titles is incredibly impressive, but Watson seems to be rather greedy when it comes to winning. His latest feat can be added to a string of successes in online poker (as “SirWatts”) that will make us even more jealous, given that he has racked up seven SCOOP and three WCOOP titles, too!

It Could Be You…

Budding poker demons aching for their own taste of the big time can take advantage of the countless opportunities afforded them by the world of real money online poker where, every day of the year, you’ll find chances to win life-changing sums playing in online poker tournaments as well as use your poker prowess to qualify for live poker tournaments such as EPT events.

Meanwhile, at PokerListings we strive to give our community a helping hand by putting together a collection of the latest online poker bonuses and offers in our regularly updated info section.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

Psst.., hey you, got Bitcoin? This is not an investment strategy tip of any sort, but if you don’t, maybe you should get some. Not because cryptocurrencies are here to stay but because original Bitcoin Poker trailblazer – SwC Poker, is upscaling their promotions, as the operator is preparing for their own “moonsoon season”.

This might not be far because SwC’s Bitcoin player pool has been growing steadily, and this year the poker room has already made new records that are direct indicators of growing popularity.

So, what went down?

The year 2023 so far has brought forth huge software updates with new games, features, and more tournaments with boosted win potentials like the Thursday Doubles.

Not only that, the amazing SwC Bad Beat Jackpot first time crossed the magical 6,000,000 Chips in March, and in April one “lucky loser” won with a doomed Pocket Aces over 2.25 BTC! Sharing is caring, and that is why the Bad Beat Jackpot celebration is never a one man party at the SwC. The actual winner of that epic hand won over 1.29 BTC, and all the rest who were dealt a hand in that round (six players) won 0.161 BTC each.

We know iron is hot and that is why as a new depositor you can claim, starting from 15th of May, an Exclusive PokerListings SwC Poker Welcome Bonus and get extra bitcoins!

Bad Beat Jackpot

SwC Poker Bad Beat Jackpot makes the best out of very unfortunate situations. If you happen to get Pocket Aces and lose with a poker hand AAAKK or better, oh boy get ready for some Bitcoins! This of course, if all other criterias are met which are: At least 4 players are dealt into the hand, and both, winner and loser, used their hole cards for the combination.

The record for the biggest Bad Beat Jackpot has been broken this year already twice, which is also a indicator that the poker room is booooming like never before. So only thing left to ask is, when lambo? Hah, crypto jokes 😉.

SwC is a rising star of online poker and if you are not familiar with this operator yet, read the short introduction below and more detailed review you can find here – SwC Poker Review

Introducing SwC Poker

  • Formerly known as SealsWithClubs
  • Started in 2015
  • Legal to play globally due to Bitcoin status (also in the US)
  • Play multiple poker variants (Hold’em, Omaha, Badugi, Pineapple Poker
  • Nice Bad Beat Jackpot
  • One of the best Rakeback Deals

As an operator, SwC Poker is one of those smaller online poker rooms that has been around for quite some time already, slowly growing, improving their software and services, and gaining more traffic in return.

Back in 2015, Bitcoin Poker was not the most popular, one reason being the industry lacked proper tools, but this changed with SwC Poker’s big software update with Bitcoin 3.0.

Now, in 2023, SwC Poker is one of the leading Bitcoin poker sites with stable traffic of at least 80-240 players at any time of the day, and during US peak hours, the number is even greater.

SwC Poker also offers a huge variety of different poker games, including NL Hold’em, Omaha, Pineapple Poker, and even mixed games like Badugi

True to their game, SwC Poker is constantly updating and improving their software, which is already very impressive. Everyone who we know and has tried their client, says something like “very nice,” and we here at PokerListings totally agree with this assessment. Needless to say, SwC Poker is one of the best online Bitcoin poker operators out there.
