The most anticipated series of the summer will now officially take place from May 26th to July 15th, 2026. Read our article to find out what new events await, which tournaments got the axe, and what bonuses the World Series of Poker has prepared for its 2026 WSOP schedule.
Key Details of the 2026 WSOP Schedule
- 100 bracelet events, including players favorites such as MILLIONAIRE MAKER and COLOSSUS
- 24 freezeout events (without re-entry)
- Buy-ins from $300 to $250,000
- Free daily streams on YouTube
- 5 brand new events, including 2 for Omaha lovers
New Events in the 2026 WSOP Schedule
While some classic tournaments, including the Lucky 7s, Battle of the Ages, Shootout and Poker Hall of Fame Bounty, have been removed from the 2026 schedule, the WSOP introduced their replacements based on player feedback:
- $550 Event #1 Mini Mystery Millions No-Limit Holdem with a $1M bounty prize guarantee, starting on May 26th, 2026.
- $10,000 Event #11 GGMillion$ High Roller No-Limit Holdem — 3-day event with 2 flights, starting on May 31st, 2026.
- $1,700 Event #16 U.S. Circuit Championship No-Limit Holdem — 3-day event taken from WSOP Paradise schedule, starting on June 2nd, 2026.
- $1,500 Event #53 Five Card Pot-Limit Omaha — 3-day 5-Card PLO event, starting on June 18th, 2026.
- $1,500 Event #91 “Pick Your PLO” — 3-day Dealer’s Choice event, starting on July 9th, 2026, with a focus on Omaha, including PLO, PLO8, PLO5, and Big O.
In addition, in 2026, the Summer Circuit will be held for the first time from July 14th to 25th, 2026.
2026 WSOP Player of the Year Leaderboard
This year sets a new trend for the POY race by making not only the summer series but WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise events eligible as well.
Thus, in 2026, players will accumulate points in three places:
- Prague — WSOP Europe from March 31st to April 12th, 2026
- Las Vegas — WSOP from May 26th to July 15th, 2026
- Bahamas — WSOP Paradise from December 1st to 18th, 2026
100 players will split $1,000,000 in prizes at the end of the year:

The formula for calculating points looks like this:
C = a multiplier based on player’s finish:
- 6x for the winner
- 4x for other finalists
- 2x for others reached ITM
- 1x for all other participants of the event
Rank Ration = Final Rank ÷ Total Entries
WSOP POY Restrictions
- The WSOP POY only counts a player’s top 15 scores.
- POY points can be earned only once per event, even in tournaments that allow players to cash multiple times.
- Only public tournaments count towards the POY leaderboard; special tournaments with restrictions, Industry Employees, Seniors, Super Seniors, Tag Team, and Ladies, do not award points.
Additional Treats from WSOP to Players
In an effort to make the WSOP accessible to an international audience, organizers have decided to host free daily streams of the series’ tournaments via the WSOP YouTube channel.
The broadcast is promised to be upgraded in comparison to 2025 due to the use of a new TV set at Paris Las Vegas.
The registration to all tournaments began on February 16th, 2026 via WSOP+ App.
Finally, GGPoker holds WSOP Express satellites that are already awarding WSOP packages and tickets.
