Bruschi reaches a 4th straight year with multiple WCOOP titles

There will always be people looking to poke holes in a claim like that. Three titles in one WCOOP edition? Fine. A good player can pull that off, as long as variance is on his side.

But what about when it happens four years running? Yes, you read that right. Bruschi has banked at least two titles in every one of the last four WCOOP editions, including 2026. After his first trophy back in 2021, the only thing that’s followed is multiple wins: three in both 2023 and 2024, two in 2025, and three more in 2026.

And the trophies don’t only come in No-Limit Hold’em. The Brazilian has taken down PLO, NLO8, 2-7 Single Draw, and formats like Mystery Bounty, Deep Stack and more. In other words, Bruschi isn’t just good. He’s versatile.

In 2025, another result could have made his trophy case even fuller: a 3rd-place finish in the $10,300 Main Event High left a near-miss taste, cushioned by the roughly $426,000 he banked for it.

So who’s won more than Bruschi? Well, worldwide, you can count them on one hand — literally. Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser leads the way with 17 wins, followed by four other players tied on 14 titles apiece. Bruschi sits right behind, with 12. At this rate, who knows — he might be the one leading the pack in a few years.

Six SCOOP titles in 2026

If the WCOOP three-peat wasn’t enough for you, here’s another headline: Bruschi took down six tournaments at the 2026 Spring Championship of Online Poker. That number put him at the top of the table among Brazilians with the most SCOOP titles, overtaking Kelvin Kerber, another big name in Brazilian poker.

From titles alone, Bruschi has banked more than $160,000 in 2026. He racked up over 80 ITMs across the series, proof that the numbers aren’t only about wins — they’re about consistency.

Now let’s do the math: 12 WCOOP titles, plus 12 SCOOP titles. That’s 24 trophies from PokerStars’ two flagship series alone. No other Brazilian player comes close to that mark. Kerber currently holds 10 SCOOP titles. Yuri Martins, a legend of Brazilian poker, sits second on the WCOOP table with nine. Neither one is anywhere near Bruschi’s combined title count across the online majors.

What else is left to seal Bruschi’s reign?

A WSOP bracelet and back-to-back Sunday Million wins

Bruschi’s achievements aren’t limited to PokerStars’ flagship series. If you think a World Series of Poker bracelet is the only real proof of how good a player is — well, he’s got one of those too.

In 2021, Bruschi outlasted a field of more than 2,600 entries to take down Event #14: The Big 500. In 2026, the second bracelet nearly came his way: he finished runner-up in Event #4: Mystery Bounty PLO, against a field of nearly 800 entries. For that finish, the Brazilian took home more than $46,000.

Anyone who’s followed the star for a while knows his standout performances go back more than a decade. The traditional Sunday Million has also been a stage for Bruschi’s wins. In 2015, he beat a fellow Brazilian to claim the special Christmas edition of the Sunday Million, banking more than $350,000 for the win. The field: over 31,000 entries.

In 2018, both the prize and the field were more modest. $141,000 after a heads-up deal with Finnish player “LEHMATLENTAA” sealed his second title in the series. Bruschi and Guilherme Cheveau are today the only two Brazilians to have won the iconic tournament twice — one more feather in the online king’s cap.

Live poker tells the same story

If you still think Bruschi only knows how to play from behind a screen, hold on. The Brazilian also knows how to sit at a real table — and his live résumé proves it.

In 2022, he finished runner-up in the EPT London £10,300 High Roller, banking £270,217, one of the biggest scores of his career outside PokerStars. That same year, he came even closer to live glory: runner-up in the BSOP Millions R$50,000 Super High Roller, the most expensive tournament ever run on the Brazilian circuit at the time, losing to Lúcio Lima after a deal followed by a blind all-in. The payout? R$717,025.

There’s more: a 6th-place finish in the 2018 BSOP Millions Main Event (R$ 274,620) and a title in the BSOP Puerto Iguazu $1,500 Heads-Up NLHE, also in 2018.

But perhaps the most symbolic result came in Las Vegas. At the 2022 WSOP, Bruschi sat at the final table of Event #65 ($3,000 Freezeout) alongside none other than Phil Hellmuth, the winningest bracelet holder in poker history. He finished 6th for $107,472 — but sharing a table with the “Poker Brat” already says plenty about where the Brazilian stands.

Add it all up and you get more than $2.9 million in live earnings alone, according to the Hendon Mob. Online or in person, the result tends to look the same.

So, what’s a reign worth?

Let’s run the numbers. More than eight digits banked in online poker alone. One WSOP bracelet. Two Sunday Million titles. 24 combined WCOOP and SCOOP trophies — no other Brazilian comes close. And the 2026 WCOOP isn’t even over yet: the series doesn’t wrap up until September 30.

Some people will wait for the next Main Event win before they start using the word “best” — there’s always a similar debate going on somewhere, like this one. But numbers speak for themselves, and Bruschi’s do the talking: five straight years hoisting trophies, four of them with multiple wins, in formats ranging from No-Limit Hold’em to 2-7 Single Draw. That’s not luck. That’s dominance.
