One of three non-Americans at the 2015 WSOP November Nine, Federico Butteroni is representing Italy and entering the final table last in chips. Butteroni has nine previous live tournament cashes but none of them even come close to what he's done by making the November Nine. In fact, the $1 million he's already guaranteed is ten times as much as everything he did before combined. Butteroni told PokerListings that his plan is to try to double up in the first 20 hands. He said he's confident that if he can do it, he'll finish in a top three spot. Butteroni also said he's proud to be representing Italy, and that if he can become the next world champion of poker it might re-energize Italy's waning poker community. Check out the full November Nine interview with Federico Butteroni and check back on PokerListings.com this fall to see how he does at the final table.
