Jonathan Duhamel burst into poker stardom by dominating the last day of the 2010 WSOP Main Event and taking a commanding chip lead to the final table.
The French-Canadian from Boucherville, Quebec, Duhamel was a finance student when he decided to plunk $100 into an online poker site in 2006.
Duhamel found he had a knack for the game and it wasn't long before he was making a good living playing online poker.
He eventually made the decision to drop out of college and become a full time poker professional.
It worked out for Duhamel who has traveled the world in search of poker games and cashed for nearly $100,000 before making the 2010 WSOP Main Event final table.
The 2010 WSOP was particularly good for Duhamel as he cashed twice before making the Main Event final table.
In his spare time Duhamel enjoys playing hockey.
