(Note: this poker room does not allow U.S. players). Paddy Power Poker is definitely a popular site on the expanding iPoker network. Games are loose, with lots of players drifting over to the poker room from the massive amount of non-poker entertainment available, including bingo, casino games, skill games, sports betting, auctions and mobile gaming. FULL REVIEW - Paddy Power Poker (7.65)

Due to U.S. legislation preventing credit card companies from collecting payments for wagers made by U.S. residents, Paddy Power Poker has determined to suspend all real-money gaming business in the United States.

Paddy Power Poker is a another poker room in the iPoker network initiative developed by PlayTech, one of few networks that has managed to recuperate quickly from the new U.S. gaming regulations - mostly due to many sites on the network aggressively marketing their services and more and more rooms joining the network. Games are still looser than standard, with lots of players joining the network from other types of games and betting.

The Paddy Power Poker software offers great functionality, attractive graphics and good security and stability. The games offered are Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud Hi, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo, with both ring games and multi-table tournaments offered. Tables are also available in heads-up, full and shorthanded formats.

Paddy Power Poker offers plenty of multi-table tournaments, sit-and-gos and freerolls with great value. The traffic volume overall is in the middle segment of the industry. Real-money player statistics as of December 2008 show 10,000 ring-game players at peak hours, and 55,000 tournament players at peak hours.

Overall, Paddy Power Poker offers juicy games and good software that plays well, even though the game pace is on the slow side. The software is updated frequently to ensure safety and stability, with little downtime as a result.
