Insyder19 Tops $100k, Blom Stopped Cold

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has already given back a portion of the huge $397k win he recorded yesterday.

Fortunately for the young Scandinavian it was only $56k and not even close to some of the more famous meltdowns he’s experienced in the past.

Blom recorded 2,066 hands last night and even played several hundred hands of $50/$100 Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em, which is a rare occurrence.

Although Isildur1 is widely considered to be a better No-Limit Hold’em player than PLO, he simply couldn’t get anything going and lost over $80k in the No-Limit games against takechip and SpeedUpOrIGo.

Blom managed to make up for some of his losses in the PLO games and ended up finishing the night down $56k. It’s not all bad for the Swedish pro as he’s still up several hundred thousand in 2011.

Meanwhile the lesser-known Wladimir “insyder19” Taschner stole the show as last night’s biggest winner with $109k in profit.

Insyder19 burned through 2,802 hands of $25/$50 Six-Max PLO and essentially crushed his opponents at every turn. He recorded some of his biggest wins against established regular high-stakes grinders le kork and machado28.

Taschner has flown under the radar this year but has earned $325k over 460 sessions this year.

Joining Taschner at the top was SpeedUpOrIGo who picked up $100k in just over 500 hands last night.

Rui “PepperoniF” Cao was also crushing last night and ended up finishing his night with an extra $71k in his bankroll.

Rounding out the top five were takechip (+$43k) and U.K. player Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane (+$43k)

Last night’s losers weren’t nearly as prominent as machado28 (-$55k) and le kork (-$47k) were the only players to come close to matching Isildur1’s losses.

Also in the top five losers category were QuantumShove (-$36k) and jcI87 (-$36k).
