High-stakes action heating up at Ladbrokes Poker

Peter Jepsen won $37K thanks to a four-of-a-kind.

The high rollers are returning to one of the most classic online poker scenes - Ladbrokes Poker.
According to the Web site High Stakes Database, there has been plenty of action at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 tables at Ladbrokes Poker in the last few days.
Danish poker star Peter Jepsen, playing under the nickname Zupp_3, has been one of the most successful players, winning several big pots.
Jepsen played the most spectacular hand on Sunday. Luck, however, combined with his innate talent for him to win it.
Jepsen was playing $50/$100 heads-up No-Limit Hold'em against a player called sidepot, and raised to $350 from the button. sidepot re-raised to $1,500, and Jepsen called.
The flop came 8h-7d-5s. sidepot bet $1,777 and Jepsen called once again.
The Jc on the turn proved to be the action card. sidepot bet $5,000, only to see Jepsen, who had his opponent covered, move all-in for $18,622. sidepot made the call.
Another jack came on the river. sidepot showed pocket aces, but was beaten by Jepsen who sat with pocket jacks, and had caught a runner-runner four-of-a-kind. The Dane took home the $37,277 pot.
This is just one example of the recent action at Ladbrokes Poker. Maybe in the near future the site will be able to match the crazy high-stakes games at Full Tilt Poker.
