Hansen Counts to $123k
Apparently not content with winning $600k last week, Gus Hansen added another $123k over the weekend.
Hansen was one of the biggest winners over an unusually quiet weekend for the high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker.
The Great Dane, who has been very active on the virtual tables over the last week, played over 1,000 hands as he worked his way to a six-figure victory.
Including last week Hansen is now on a $723k upswing and looking to put a serious dent in the $3 million in losses he’s accumulated this year.
Online player DrugsOrMe was by far the biggest loser this weekend, dropping a total of $316k in 2,172 hands.
DrugsOrMe splashed his way onto the online poker scene in late summer and rocketed up to $1 million profit in mid-September. Since then DrugsOrMe has fallen all the way down to $620k for the year.
DrugsOrMe sustained most of his losses over the weekend in $200/$400 Six-Max Pot-Limit Omaha against harrington25, howitfeelslike, Luukie21, LokoIsBack and URnotINdanger2.
Hansen was joined at the top of the profit charts this weekend by MagicNinja (+$129k), Rafi “howitfeelslike” Amit ($117k) and David Oppenheim ($107k).
Jared “harrington25” Bleznick (-$156k), Erik “DIN_FRU” Sagstrom (-$103k) and Brian “sbrugby” Townsend (-$90k) were the biggest casualties.
