Hansen Continues Winning Ways
Gus Hansen remains one of the hottest players on Full Tilt Poker with a $264k win last night.
The Great Dane has been absolutely on fire recently and is already the biggest winner in the young month of November with nearly $300k in profit.
After hitting a low of -$3.6 million on the year in mid-October, Hansen has gone on a $2 million upswing that now sees him down only $1.6 million in 2010.
Last night Hansen was very busy on the virtual Pot-Limit Omaha tables and recorded close to 700 hands against the likes of Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, DrugsOrMe, Arbianight, davin77 and Ingenious89.
He took turns winning pots at both heads-up $500/$1,000 PLO and $200/$400 Six-Max PLO.
The majority of Hansen’s profits came from heads-up, however, as he beat DrugsOrMe out of $150k and Ziigmund out of $100k.
Ziigmund has essentially been in a free fall since the start of October and has had a particularly hard time recording a winning session in the last week. Sahamies is down $652k in 2010.
Although Hansen was by far the biggest winner of the night he had some company at the top with davin77 (+$98k), luckexpress10 (+$54k), Sauce1234 (+$45k) and UPaGrip (+$35k) all making big scores.
DrugsOrMe lost more than anyone, dropping $193k, but Arbianight (-$60k), insyderr (-$55k) and theASHMAN103 (-$36k) also had nights they will likely want to forget.
