Specializing in No-Limit Hold'em and Seven-Card Stud, Lacey Jones is riding a wave of unexpected success since she made a strong showing in a tournament filmed for ESPN, a charity event for cystic fibrosis at the Normandie Casino in February 2005. Ironically, she had been hired as a model for the event.

Her poker chops got her a sponsorship deal with Absolute Poker, complete with lessons to strengthen her game even further courtesy of Mark Seif. She finished 24th out of 284 at the Borgata Poker Open's Event 11, No-Limit Hold'em, in fall of 2007, proving that her ESPN results weren't just a fluke.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Lacey first learned to play poker with her family during summer vacations at their beach house in South Carolina. True poker fanatics, they would sometimes play all night long.

She attended college in Paris, where she mastered the French language, and graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in political science and French. She hopes to go on to law school and eventually to become a diplomat to a Francophone country.

Given her knockout looks, it's not surprising Lacey is a professional model whose client list includes Daimler AG (formerly DaimlerChrysler), Carolina Herrera, Max and Co, Playboy Leather and St. John. She has also appeared on HBO's Entourage.

Lacey enjoys watching live hockey, playing mahjong, skydiving and exploring political theory and quantum physics when she's not at the felt. She lives in Las Vegas.
