Bracelet #4 on the horizon.

Since he joined forces with 888poker last year, things have only been going up for Dominik Nitsche.

2015 was the best year of his career money-wise and 2016 has started out so well it's hard to imagine him not topping last year's results again.

After reaching two final tables at the Aussie Millions in January, one of them the AUD $25k Super High Roller event, he spent a couple of days at home in Edinburgh before coming to EPT Dublin last week.

Here he scored a win in the UKIPT €2k High Roller event in a field of 416 players and then jumped into the single-day €10k High Roller the next day on just 3 or 4 hours sleep.

In that one he came second, but two deals prior secured him the largest payout in the field. Both results scored him around €150k.

"I've Had the Best Results of My Life"

Almost unusually there was no deal at the final table in the first of those events while there were two deals in the second one.

Power of the patch.

We caught up with Nitsche in Dublin to find out more about his impressive runs this week.

In the video below he explains why his suggestion to look at the numbers was turned down in the UKIPT event while everyone was fast to agree on dealing twice in the €10k.

He also delves into his success as part of Team 888 and just how much fun being a bounty at 888Live Innsbruck was.

If you’re in London next month you’ll have the chance to get the current #6 ranked player in the GPI at your table for only a €220 buy-in as part of the next stop in the 888Live Series.
