Today in the 3-Bet we find a contentious trio in the $1k WSOP Tag Team, strange marks found on the One Drop cards and another day in the life of DNegs.

1) Jesus, Howard & Andy

Interesting twist yesterday in the $1,000 buy-in WSOP Tag Team event:

jesus
Back again and with friends.

Full Tilt Poker pariahs Howard Lederer and Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson put in a 3-man team along with fellow FTP figure Andy Bloch.

Both Lederer and Ferguson returned to the WSOP last year - to much vitriol, at first, although nothing much in the way of retribution materialized - so that part might not be such a surprise.

The fact they teamed up together as a bit of a middle-finger salute to those still harbouring ill will over the FTP debacle ... that's a bold move.

The response from poker players, as you might expect, was not positive:

The trio did squeak their way into Day 2 today with 94 teams left but with just 23,000 in chips it could be a short one for them. Keep up with the updates at WSOP.com.

2) Marked Cards or Just Card Marks?

Interesting twist last night in the $111,111 One Drop High Roller, which Doug Polk won, when they reached five-handed play:

The issue was settled after about 45 minutes with some new decks and the players, who all know each other fairly well, didn't seem to feel anything nefarious was going on.

Plenty of Phil Ivey jokes were made on Twitter, tho. Where is he, btw?

3) Days in the WSOP Life of DNegs

If you haven't been following his social media accounts Daniel Negreanu is doing his best to fill the WSOP Ivey void single-handedly with a daily Vlog of his travails at the 2017 World Series of Poker.

So far, it's been pretty illuminating as he's played the $111,111 One Drop High Roller and had deep runs in the $10k Tag Team last week and now the $10k Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better Championship.

With 17 players left he's Top 6 in chips and looking good to make yet another WSOP final table. Check his latest couple of Vlogs below and hit up his YouTube channel for more great daily content.
