Exactly two years ago, Sergio Aido won the $10K GGMillion$ WSOP Online. The tournament attracted a record 1,433 entries, with $1.93M going to the winner. Last night, Aido did it again, winning the same GGMillion$ WSOP Online with 1,754 entries.

Matheus Machado Eliminates Almost Everyone at the GGMillion$ WSOP Online Final Table, but Sergio Aido Wins

At the start of the final table, the top three stacks were:

  • Roeland Peeks — 172 BB
  • Sergio Aido — 72 BB
  • Matheus Machado — 37 BB

All three players eventually made it to 3-handed play.

Matheus Machado dominated the first hour and a half, eliminating opponents one after another.

  • In 9th place, he eliminated Niklas “lena900” Astedt: AA > QQ, 68 BB pot.
  • In 8th place — Alessandro De Michele: QQ > A9o, 14 BB pot. A queen came on the flop.
  • In 7th place — Johannes Straver: TT > AQo, 32 BB pot. A ten came on the flop.
  • In 6th place — Oshri Lahmani: AKo > JJ, 39 BB pot. A king came on the river.

Sergio Aido joined the action midway through the second hour. First, he won a big pot from Christopher Nguyen, then eliminated him.

In 3-handed play, Machado eliminated another opponent, Roeland Peeks: ATo > A5o, 45 BB pot.

Machado started heads-up with 56 BB, while Aido had 90 BB. At one point, the stacks were even, but Aido came out on top.
