CoinPoker Announces First-Ever PLO Cash Game World Championship

CoinPoker PLO CGWC Details

The third CGWC but the first exclusively for Omaha players will begin at 12:00 UTC on October 6th, 2025 and run until November 2nd, 2025.

This promotion is rake-free at PLO 6-Max tables of two stakes: $2.50/5 and $10/20, with special rules:

• 100 bb buy-in
• 1 bb ante for 6-max table = 0.17 bb ante per player
• Winning hands cannot be mucked — when a player wins a pot on any street, their cards are automatically shown to their opponents.

By playing at these tables, each player earns points on the CGWC PLO leaderboard.

Daily highlights of the PLO Cash Game World Championship will be published on the CoinPoker YouTube channel and their other social media pages.

PLO CGWC Leaderboard

The PLO CGWC leaderboard will be active for the duration of the promotion. At the end of the period, the top 5 players will receive prizes:

As part of the CoinPoker and PLO Genius partnership, all PLO CGWC participants will be rewarded with a a 1-month PLO Genius PRO subscription as soon as they play 10,000 hands.

Leaderboard winners will also receive additional prizes:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd place — a year of PLO Genius PRO.
• 4th and 5th place — a year of PLO Genius EDGE.

PLO Genius will also be giving away a 1-month PRO subscription on CGWC streams and social media.

Leaderboard points begin to accrue after a player has played at least 20,000 hands at PLO CGWC tables:

• $2.50/5 — 1 point for 1 EV bb
• $10/20 — 2.5 points for 1 EV bb

Any hands played heads-up at eligible PLO tables do not contribute to the leaderboard, nor do any hands from the weekly VIP game. The leaderboard updates every day around 12:00 UTC.

What is the CGWC Weekly VIP Game

For five players who achieve special “titles” at PLO CGWC tables during the week, CoinPoker prepared a $1,000 individual prize and a Sunday private game against two VIP players.

Achievements to get into the weekly VIP game:

• Coolest Hand Played. Each week, four hands will be chosen for fan voting on the X platform (ex-Twitter). Hands for this achievement are submitted via the PLO Players Union Discord server.
• Biggest $ Loser.
• Most Under $EV Player.
• Most Hands Played.
• Highest VPIP %. Only participation in 6-handed games counts, provided that at least 2,000 hands were played in a week.

Each Saturday, five winners will be selected to compete for a prize the following day. However, they are not obligated to participate in the weekly VIP game — if they can’t do so on Sunday, they can simply give up their spot to another event participant of their choice.

The Weekly VIP Game starts at 05:00 pm UTC every Sunday as $5,000 PLO 7-Max.
