PokerStars: $8M WCOOP Bootcamp

From August 3 to 18, the “warm-up” WCOOP Bootcamp series $9M GTD will take place. The schedule features 137 tournaments in NLHE, PLO, PLO8, 5-Card PLO, 5-Card PLO8, Razz, 2-7 Single Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, HORSE, 8-Game, and Badugi, with buy-ins starting at $2.20.

The main events will be held on August 17:

  • $109 NLHE Main Event Low $600K Gtd
  • $1,050 NLHE Main Event High $400K Gtd

The series also includes a leaderboard:

  • 1st–4th place: $10,300 WCOOP Gold Pass
  • 5th–8th place: $2,500 WCOOP Silver Pass

WPT Global kicks off August with several exciting tournaments:

The Poker Rewards Program offering up to 40% rakeback for cash game table starters continues

  • Only NLHE and Short Deck tables now count toward the promotion — PLO4, PLO5, and Flash games are excluded.
  • Only the first player to sit at the table receives rakeback.
  • Only High Stakes tables are eligible (minimum $25/50/100 or 100/200/400 CNY NLHE, 200 CNY Short Deck).
  • Heads-up only tables are excluded.
  • Rakeback rate: 40%

The entire time spent at the table counts, including 5-minute breaks. If a player leaves the table and returns, rakeback will no longer be credited. However, if the player who started the game busts and rebuys, they will continue to earn rakeback.Rakeback is paid out every Monday at 12:00 UTC.

GGPoker: $10M Omaholic Series, $25M GGMillion$ Week, WSOP Online Teaser, and $7.4M in Regular Promotions

The Omaha-focused series will run through August 11. The schedule features events with buy-ins ranging from $15 to $5,250. The biggest events (Day 2 listed) are:

  • August 4 — $25 Omaholic Mystery Bounty Mini Main $300K GTD
  • August 11 — $215 Omaholic Mystery Bounty Main Event $1M GTD with a top mystery bounty of $100K

These tournaments are held in Stage format (stacks are combined).

The series includes a $100K leaderboard. The top 3 players will receive a $2,500 WSOP Express Super Step ticket. Points are calculated using the formula: Log (Prize Pool) / Sqrt (Finish Position / Number of Entrants).

GGMillion$ Week will run from August 10 to 19

The schedule features 65 tournaments with buy-ins from $525 to $25,500. The flagship event is the $10K GGMillion$ Main Event $1M for 1st with an $8M guarantee, featuring 9 flights.

WSOP Online will take place from August 17 to September 30

A total of 33 bracelets will be awarded. The schedule has not yet been published. Each bracelet winner will receive a $30K WSOP Super Pass for entry to WSOP Paradise.

$7.4M in Regular Leaderboards

General rules of each leaderboard:

  • The scoring period is from 08:00 UTC to 07:59 UTC the next day.
  • Every day from 06:00 to 08:00 UTC “happy hour”: points are multiplied by x1.5.
  • Information about all leaderboards was collected in one table. For details of prize distribution, look at the client in the tab with the certain discipline.

The series will run until August 11. Schedule of the biggest remaining events:

  • August 3 & 10, 14:00 GMT — €50 Sunday Warm-Up €100K GTD

  • August 10, 15:00 GMT — €200 Main Event €200K GTD

To participate in the Twister Race, you need to register in the client every week by clicking “Opt-in”.

Points are awarded depending on the size of the buy-in for participation and for winning. For example: in a €10 tournament, 10 points are awarded for participation and 10 points for victory, in a €20 tournament, 20 points are awarded for participation and 20 for victory, etc. Prizes are awarded in Twister tickets.

$25K GTD Monthly Lottery

To participate, you must complete any of the tasks.

  • Make a deposit from $10 / €10 / ₽700 / ¥60 / ₴250.
  • Play 250 poker hands in a cash game (tournaments do not count).

1 ticket = 1 spin of the wheel = 1 guaranteed prize: free spins, tournament tickets, poker bonuses or cash up to $250 directly to your account.

The Bad Beat Jackpot was launched in early July on both Stake.US and Stake.com.

The Bad Beat Jackpot is triggered by losing a hand at cash game tables under the following conditions:

  • NLHE — AAAJJ or better
  • PLO — 2222x or better

Key conditions:

  • The hand must go to showdown.
  • Both the winning and losing players must use both of their hole cards to make their hand.
  • If the losing hand is four of a kind, the player must hold a pocket pair.
  • The hand must involve 4 or more players.
  • If the board is run multiple times, only the first run counts for the Bad Beat Jackpot.
  • Any player involved in the hand that triggers the jackpot must remain at the table until the hand is completed to be eligible.

BBJ Payouts:

  • 8% — to the player who loses the hand
  • 5% — to the player who wins the hand
  • 3% — shared among the other players in the hand

The remaining jackpot pool is distributed across stakes as follows:
