Absolute Carnage Phil Hellmuth Felts MrBeast on Poker After Dark

For the first time, Poker After Dark hosted a charity sit-and-go at the luxurious ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas. The line-up was a mix of poker legends including Phil Hellmuth and Doyle Brunson, chess and poker star Alexandra Botez, Republican U.S. Senator from Texas Ted Cruz, and YouTube personalities Graham Stephan and Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson.

The GGPoker YouTube channel launched the first installment of the charity event with the $5,000 prize pool slated for charity and tons of poker pride on the line.

"MrBeast" arrived late to what he described as flight problems and didn't get to play many hands before absolute carnage broke out in a hand against Hellmuth. The hand all began with a limp from early position by "MrBeast" with the blinds at 2,000/4,000 (4,000) with eight-seven. Hellmuth raised to 15,000 with aces and "MrBeast" called after the rest of the table folded.

The action got hot and heavy quickly after the ten-nine-deuce rainbow flop. "MrBeast" led out for 10,000 with the bottom end of an open-ended straight draw. Hellmuth jammed and "MrBeast" called off for 106,000. Bricks came on the turn and river and after the hand asked Hellmuth about whether he had the right odds. Hellmuth went through the math and shared that he only had 34% equity when he called off his stack.

Check out the video below for the entire episode at the GGPoker YouTube channel. The hand described above happened at around the 41-minute mark. Let us know in the comments below of what you think of the play by "MrBeast" and whether he has what it would take to compete on the world's stage during the World Series of Poker with a bit of studying.

This episode concluded with the other five players still in contention and Phil Hellmuth holding the lead thanks to him busting MrBeast.
