Borgata Poker Bonus Code & Promotions

  1. $10 No Deposit Bonus on signup
  2. $10 Cash after earning 1 iRP
  3. 100% First deposit bonus up to $600

Click PLAY HERE on this page and use the Borgata Poker promo code BONUS600 to receive three new customer rewards. The first reward is classed as a no deposit bonus because it’s credited to your account before you’ve made an initial transaction. That reward is worth $10 and comes in the form of bonus cash. This means it’s only available to withdraw once you’ve earned 40 iReward Points (iRPs).

The second reward is another $10 payment. This time, however, the funds are credited to your balance as real cash once you’ve earned 1 iRP. Finally, when you make your first deposit, Borgata’s promo team will double it up to a maximum value of $600. For example, if you deposit $100, that will trigger a welcome bonus worth $100.

These credits are locked away and released in increments equal to 10% of your bonus. So, if your bonus is worth $100, you’ll get your money in $10 increments. The release requirement for the Borgata Online Poker welcome bonus is 4X the reward amount in iRPs. So, for a $100 bonus, you’d need to earn 400 iRPs to release your credits.

Broken down into increments, that means you’ll receive $10 each time you earn 40 iRPs. How much is that in practice? The loyalty scheme gives you 5.56 iRPs for every dollar you rake. Based on the above, you’ll receive $10 of your bonus each time you rake $7.19. When you consider the Borgata Poker rake -to-reward ratio here, that’s a return of over 100%. Even compared to the leading online poker bonuses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere, that’s a fantastic deal. So, if you're a newbie to the game or don’t have an account, you can’t pass this one up.

Poker Promotions

The Borgata Online Poker promotions page is packed with value. Some of the hot deals we found during our review were:

Spin the Wheel

This is the easiest promotion to claim. Each day that you’re active, you can spin the bonus wheel. Depending on where it stops, you could win anything from bonus cash or free bets, to tournament tickets.

Leaderboards

Sit & go players can fight for cash prizes every week courtesy of two leaderboards. Aimed at those playing “low” stakes as well as “high” stakes, these leaderboards feature prizepools worth $10,000 or more. The aim is simple: win sit & go tournaments and earn points. Rank high enough on the weekly leaderboard and you’ll bank some extra cash!

The Grind: Rakeback and Loyalty Rewards

Hit the Borgata Poker tables on a regular basis and you can get a steady stream of added value courtesy of The Grind. By playing real-money tournaments and cash games, you’ll earn prizes each time you hit a new iRP milestone. Your points total is based on your activity through the month. So, once it gets the end of the month, your iRP haul will determine the size of your prize. The bottom rung of the ladder sees you get $1 in cash if you’ve earned 100 iRPs through the month. At the top of the shop, a monthly total of 300,000 iRPs gets you $1,500 in tournament dollars and $5,000 in cash! That means you can get up to $6,500 in added value every month.

To hit the top reward, you’ll need to rake $53,956. When you compare that to the amount of cash you get back, that works out at a rakeback rate of 12%. That’s respectable in today’s online poker economy. It’s not as much as you’d have gotten back in the golden age of online poker. However, it’s not the early noughties anymore and things are different. Today, 12% rakeback is solid value. In fact, you actually get a bit more value than that when you factor in the comps offered by Mlife. As a Borgata Poker Online customer, you’ll get access to the Mlife loyalty scheme. This scheme is spread across all of MGM’s online and land-based gaming sites. So, as well as getting credit for playing poker, you can earn iRPs when you bet on casino games and sports. The more points you earn, the more bonuses, comps, hotel discounts, and special prizes you can get. Therefore, when you combine The Grind with Mlife, the true rakeback rate is a lot higher than 12%.

Software and Features

First things first, the Borgata Poker download process is slick and quick. We installed the desktop software in less than 30 seconds. This tells us that the basic mechanics of the site are well-crafted. Poorly produced sites are bloated with unnecessary features and often take longer to download. Therefore, in this regard, we know Borgata’s software has been nicely refined.

Once you’re inside the site, everything is stable and slick. Four tabs at the top of the page move you from poker to promotions, to casino games and the support page. Below that you’ve got six headings that provide a clear route through the platform:

  • Cash
  • Fastforward
  • Sit & Go
  • Tourneys
  • My Tourneys
  • The Star Icon

For anyone that’s used partypoker or BetMGM Poker, the layout will look familiar. That’s because Borgata Poker NJ and PA are powered by GVC Holdings’ technology and, in turn, the partypoker Network. By that fact alone, you know this is going to be a great site. partypoker has been serving players around the world since the early 2000s. As such, the package it offers is at the elite level in terms of efficiency, accessibility, and reliability.

This relationship also means Borgata offers the latest innovations such as fast-fold poker. The games are known as Fastforward and they move you to a new table each time you fold. Although Fastforward games aren’t quite as slick as PokerStars Zoom, they are very impressive. If there’s one criticism we’d make it’s that there aren’t any mid or high stakes games. However, this does mean the $10NL and $50NL tables are buzzing with action.

The other feature we loved was the favorites option. When you register for an MTT, it gets saved in the “my tourneys” tab. That means you’ve always got quick access to your personal schedule. Moreover, this feature is a great way to track your Borgata Poker tournament results and see where you’re winning/losing. In tandem with this, you can favorite certain games by tapping the star icon. This saves the game to your account which, again, allows you to create a personalized schedule.

TOURNAMENTS AND FREEROLLS

  • MTTs - Multi-table Tournaments
  • Freezeout (one chance) and Rebuy Tournaments
  • Progressive Bounty (Knockout prizes)
  • Satellites (qualify through another lower-buy-in tournament)

The Borgata poker live room in Atlantic City is known for hosting some of the biggest tournaments in the state. In fact, whenever the World Poker Tour (WPT) rolls into town, the Borgata is one of  the host venues. Unsurprisingly, this relationship with the WPT is now present online. Because GVC and partypoker are closely associated with the WPT, Borgata PA and NJ customers get access to major online events.

In addition to WPT Online tournaments, you can take part in a plethora of qualifiers for live events in the Borgata poker schedule. All of this and you still get a bustling weekly schedule of MTTs. From freerollsto $0.25 satellites and the $535 Mega Tuesday with its $12,000 guarantee, there’s something for everyone.

Naturally, the WPT Online events are the most impressive. However, we loved the Sunday $35K Guaranteed ($215 buy-in) and the Daily $10K tournaments that cost $109 to enter. Both of these marquee MTTs have plenty of qualifiers and the guarantees are often breached.

More Borgata Poker Games

Aside from Borgata Poker tournaments, what else does this operator offer? Let’s take a look.

Cash Games

Most of the Borgata Poker tables you’ll find online are bustling with cash game players. During our review, we saw No Limit games running from $2NL right up to $5,000NL. Six-max Hold’em games were the most popular, but there was still a decent amount of full-ring and heads-up action. Fixed Limit Hold’em games are also available but they’re not as busy. But, if you want a break from the Borgata Poker Texas Holdem tables, you can switch the Omaha and Stud. The latter has a few games running up to $5/$10, while the former attracts some of the site’s better players.

Sit & Go Tournaments

There are plenty of Hold’em and PLO sit & go tournaments inside the virtual Borgata poker room. Standard variants, including turbo, hyper, full-ring, six-max, and heads-up, run from $1 up to $500. The games that piqued our attention the most were Coin Flips. These six-max SNGs are exactly what you’d expect: coinflips. Everyone starts with a single chip and is moved all-in automatically. There isn’t any skill involved but they’re extremely entertaining and only cost $1 to play.

Fast-Fold Variants

As we’ve said, the fast-fold games at Borgata are known as Fastforward. Each table can hold a maximum of six players, and you’ll find NLHE games at $0.05/$0.10 and $0.25/$0.50.

COMPETITION AND TRAFFIC

Borgata Poker New Jersey and Pennsylvania are both linked to the partypoker network. This means there’s a steady stream of traffic on any given day. The stats at the time of writing this Borgata review showed 220 players at peak times and a seven-day average of just under 100 cash game players. That makes Borgata NJ the third busiest site in the Garden State behind WSOP.com / 888Poker NJ and PokerStars NJ. However, Borgata PA and BetMGM PA are both second to PokerStars in the Keystone State (Pennsylvania).

This is something the team is working on. partypoker is one of the biggest brands in the business and will want to close the gap on its rivals. However, we know that traffic spikes when the WPT is in town. Indeed, when the first WPT Online events took place in 2020, players from across the US were drawn to New Jersey. That resulted in a massive increase in traffic. Therefore, when Borgata hosts future WPT Online events, you can expect more players to join the site. The one thing to note here is that the player coming in for the WPT will be pros. That will make the high stakes cash games tough for a while. However, at the lower levels, the standard of competition should still be manageable.

Making Deposits and Withdrawals

Borgata poker chips don’t come for free. If you want to win real money, you’ve got to make a deposit. Fortunately, the process is safe and simple regardless of whether you use your desktop computer or mobile app. Before you make your first withdrawal, you’ll need to submit a valid form of ID (like a passport) to Borgata’s security team. This helps prevent fraud and, in turn, protects your bankroll.

  • Min. Deposit: $10
  • Min. Withdrawal: $20
  • Max. Withdrawal: $10,000+
  • Withdrawal processing: 24 hours

*Borgata poker winners will likely need to use their deposit method as their default withdrawal option.

Our Borgata Poker Rating

Borgata Online Poker NJ and PA is a slick site that’s backed by some of the biggest names in the business. Indeed, with the help of GVC Holdings and partypoker, this operator recreated the majesty of its Borgata live poker room in a digital setting. For us, the welcome bonus provides a great start to a journey that’s filled with fantastic features and opportunities.

The loyalty scheme is a great way to get rakeback every month and the selection of games is right up there with the best in the US. Finally, we love the fact you can play WPT Online tournaments at Borgata PA and NJ. That’s something very few sites can offer and, in our opinion, it’s one of the main reasons you’ll want to create an account if you live in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
