The long-running Battle of Malta series is set to return to the cardroom at the Casino Malta in St Julian’s on the beautiful Mediterranean island for its second instalment of the year. The event will run from October 28th to November 5th, and will certainly be a worthy excuse for many Europeans seeking warmer climates as the winter months approach.
Battle of Malta ran for the first time this year in the Spring, and it was Poland’s Adrian Ziemichod who scooped the €120,000 first prize for winning the €600 Battle of Malta, besting a field of 1,547 players in the process.
Robert Perelman finished as the runner-up for €70,000, another massive ROI from the initial €600 buy-in. Here are the final table payouts.
