In mid 2019, the new Swiss Money Gaming Act has come into force. From now on, the blocking of networks will become active, blocking foreign online casinos and poker providers. Until then, however, Swiss casinos will receive a licence from the Swiss Federal Casinos Commission (ESBK) to offer their own online casinos to Swiss customers, which have been approved by the Swiss Confederation.
