Fortune Wheel Spin to Win

There’s rarely a dull moment at the poker tables and this past weekend has been a busy one, with action heating up from Jeju to Las Vegas and Tallinn. Between high roller showdowns, some welcome influencer surprises, and a record-breaking festival in the Baltics, there’s plenty to catch up on. Here’s a look at just some of the winners who took home trophies, bragging rights, and hefty paydays over the last few days.

But not entirely: Daniel Negreanu shared a few ideas on X (ex-Twitter) drawing the attention of other players and starting a much-needed discussion in advance of WSOP 2025. How The WSOP Poker Hall of Fame usually works, what KidPoker suggested, and how the community responded to his ideas — read it all in this article from PokerListings.

Series, missions, leaderboards, bonuses — we collected information about all the promotions available in different online poker rooms in one article. So, regardless of whether you favor PokerStars or WPT Global, there is something for everyone!

The Mediterranean Poker Party (MPP) is returning to the glamorous Merit Royal Diamond Hotel and Spa Resort in Northern Cyprus in 2025. From May 3-13, players can enjoy a massive tournament schedule, with the $5M GTD MPP Cyprus Main Event as the biggest eye-catcher.

If you are not familiar yet with the Mediterranean Poker Party, then this year might just be the right moment for you to check out what they have to offer during their yearly stop in Cyprus. The event is just a couple of months ahead of us, making it a great moment to check out your travel options.

What we can already conclude from the tournament schedule is that we see many returning tournaments such as the PokerOK Mystery Bounty ($1,100 Buy-in), the Luxon Pay Grand Final ($2,200 Buy-in), the MPP Main Event  ($5,300 Buy-in), and the EAPT Cyprus ($1,100 Buy-in).

Last year, Cyprus was turned upside down by the Mediterranean Poker Party, and it turned out in great attendance rates all over the place. Notable winners were Boris Kolev (EAPT – $437,000), Ludovich Geillich (PLO High Roller – $148,100), Azamat Lamkov (MPP Main Event – $1,000,000), Fausto Tantillo (Super High Roller – $231,800), and Jovan Kenjic (MPP High Roller – $365,000).

While we’ve got just a few days of February left, 888poker doesn’t seem to be done with this month just yet. On Tuesday, February 25, the poker giant announced it’s bringing back a fan-favorite promotion that lets players earn up to 50% cashback on BLAST Sit & Go (SNG) fees. Running from 25 February through 3 March, this limited-time offer means the more you play, the more cashback you can collect.

If you’re already a BLAST Cashback regular or thinking about trying the fast-paced jackpot SNGs, now would be the time to jump in.

The WSOP Super Circuit will run from March 2 to 15, but flights for two events have already started. Let’s check out the schedule of the ring events, along with additional promotions during the series and special perks for the winners of the trophy events.

The Irish Poker Open has always been about more than just cards — it’s a staple on the European poker calendar. This year, PokerStars is dialing it up another notch with something they’re calling the Shamrock Showdown, a team-based competition that adds a bit of friendly rivalry to the mix.

The WSOP Circuit is gearing up for another round in Toronto, or at least, so it seems. While no official announcement has been made, a Facebook post appears to have leaked the expected dates, thus (at least potentially) setting the stage for another high-stakes poker showdown in Ontario’s capital. If the leak holds, WSOPC Toronto 2025 will run from April 10 to 22 at the Great Canadian Casino Resort, with GGPoker once again handling online qualifiers.

In this article, we’ll try to break down the rumors surrounding WSOPC Toronto 2025 and any truth that may be behind them.

It seems like a decade ago since the last Triton Series event at the WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas, where Triton hosted several events alongside the infamous World Series Of Poker. Their very own last event dates back to November 2024 in Monte Carlo, where ‘Gambledoor’ came to life at the age of 69!

Since 2018, Triton Poker has made Jeju Island, South Korea, one of the key destinations of its yearly schedule. To say the least, it’s growing and growing every year, as many players can now qualify online as well, thanks to its partner, WPT Global.

The event in 2024 had a total of 17 unique tournaments, of which the $100,000 Main Event got the most attention. A whopping total of 216 entries were made in total, and it was Czech superstar Roman Hrabec who took down the event after beating OG of the High Stakes scene, Jean-Noel Thorel. The ‘Orange’ man took home $4,330,000 for his victory, not bad!

For months, questions swirled around about what the 2025 European Poker Tour (EPT) schedule would actually look like. Would EPT Prague survive despite PokerStars pulling out of the Czech online poker market? Would EPT Malta, one of the longest-running EPT stops, remain unfazed while other locations like Paris and Cyprus disappeared from the calendar?

Thanks to an announcement on February 24, 2025, these are questions we no longer have to ponder — PokerStars has officially confirmed both stops for 2025.

But the announcement raises more questions than it answers. With some stops disappearing and the PokerStars Open series creeping into EPT territory, is this business as usual, or is the tour shifting in a new direction?

Luckily, we’re here to break it all down!

Not even a month passed after Nachogate 2025, when fellow ACR Poker ambassador, Ebony “CinnamonPardy” Kenney came under fire for similar RTA accusations. PokerListings shares what all of this is about, how ACR Poker responded and how the poker community reacted to this déjà vu.

The GGMasters Anniversary was set to be one of the most-anticipated events of the month. In a turn of events that not even the organizers expected, the $150 buy-in tournament was brought to a halt on Sunday after the platform suffered a major technical failure. Boasting a $5 million guarantee, the event attracted over 20,000 entries before the site-wide crash forced a pause in play. While GGPoker has already assured players that funds remained safe and has now rescheduled the event for March 2, many in the community have expressed their frustration over the handling of the situation.

We’re breaking down the story as it happened.

The two-day Bombay High Stakes Week Main Event concluded with a three-way deal, crowning Estonian poker pro Ottomar Ladva as the official winner. The exclusive high-stakes poker tournament had a €25,000 buy-in, attracting 28 players and generating 8 re-entries. The total prize pool of €873,000 was split among the top six finishers.

People who were enjoying the official live stream of Bombay Club were guaranteed an in-dept analysis as high roller Ranno Sootla accompanied the host Kristjan Laas. They gave this class act of a final table the correct layer of intelligence by taking the viewers on a journey through the minds of a great poker player. And let it be exactly the thing that we have been lacking over the years when it comes to live streams, which are often done on auto-pilot mode.

The high-stakes tournament featured a star-studded field, including renowned players such as Fedor HolzAleksejs PonakovsMartin Kabrhel, Paulius Vaitiekunas, Eelis Pärssinen, Tom Vogelsang, Andras Nemeth, Niklas Astedt, Vladas Tamašauskas, Igor Yaroshevskyy, Matas Cimbolas, and Teun Mulder, among others. Estonian players Henri Käsper, Taago Tamm, Markkos Ladev, and Tim Heath (an Australian representing Estonia as the owner of Bombay Club and Chesterfield Poker Club) also participated.

That’s officially a wrap on the 2025 PokerGO Cup in Las Vegas, and while Justin Zaki secured the Main Event trophy, the series’ ultimate spotlight belonged to Joey Weissman, who delivered one of the most impressive performances in PokerGO Cup history.
