Nicko Christensen opened for 500 from under the gun. Mehdi Rebai called from late position before Andrew Cutajar three-bet to 2,100 from the button. Fabrizo Cocco cold-called from the small blind. Christensen also called and Rebai folded.
Cocco checked the J 3 K flop before Christensen bet 2,600. Cutajar called and Cocco folded. Christensen then fired out for 3,200 after the 9 came on the turn. Cutajar raised to 8,000 and Christensen called.
Both players checked the 4 river. Christiansen turned over A K which despite there being four clubs on the board was good enough to win the hand with Cutajar mucking his cards.
"I thought you had the queen of clubs," said Christensen.
"That was the problem," replied Cutajar. "No clubs."
