Level 11: 800/1,600 (1,600)
Table 6 has a bunch of short stacks including one of our favorites in Anne Bezdek, who is always coming to the big festivals in Tallinn from her home in Finland with 37,000. There are a couple of stacks shorter than Bezdek in Kaspars Kazaks and Jimmy Dewerdt on that table.
During a recent hand, the short stacks collided after Kaspars Kazaks jammed from middle position with 11,000 over an early position opener. Jimmy Dewerdt rejammed for about 36,000 and it was a heads-up showdown after the original opener folded.
Kaspars Kazaks: 7 5
Jimmy Dewerdt: K Q
Dewerdt was in a good position to add chips but the 9 8 5 4 4 runout had something else in mind. Dewerdt appeared to be in disbelief either about Kazaks' jam or that he was unable to hold or both.
Anne Bezdek - 37,000
Kaspars Kazaks - 25,000
Jimmy Dewerdt - 25,000
