During the break, Rimko Meijer dropped by for a chat. He explained how he came in for 26 big blinds before doubling up a short-stacked player when his ace-queen didn’t hold against queen-eight. We already reported his final hand which was when his ace-nine didn’t hold against queen-eight.

Meijer shared this was his first live poker tournament. Not a bad result finishing in 24th place for €2,700 out of a massive field of 1,326 entries.
